Chapter 17

Shoto's POV

  I noticed Mizuki walking by herself, and I wanted to talk with her before school. "Mizuki, good morning." I called, she turned around and gave a small smile, waiting for me to catch up to her. "Hi Shoto." She said, we continued to walk. "What do you think we'll be doing today?" I asked. She shrugged, "I was going to ask All Might, but he had to go because someone was in trouble, So I don't know." She said back.

  I looked at her, I noticed she still had her bandages on, with her long socks over them. "Do your scars feel better?" I asked, she nodded "They do yes, Thank you again." She smiled a little more. I gave a small tiny smile. "I know it's none of my business, so I won't tell anyone about your scars." I said, she looked at me.

  "I know you weren't going to say anything, but I appreciate you saying that, Thank you." She said. I nodded, and we walked to school, talking with each other. When we got to school, there were a whole bunch of reporters outside, swarming the entrance. "Hey you two kids!" We were stopped as we were trying to get inside.

  "What is it like having All Might as your teacher?" A lady asked putting a microphone in our faces. "He's a good teacher." I said, taking Mizuki's hand and bringing her with me, as we walked away from the reporters. "Come on give us something more!" She yelled back, we passed Mr. Aizawa and Present Mic as I lead Mizuki inside.

  "T-Thanks Shoto." She said, "Of course." I said, letting go of her hand, we walked to our homeroom class. Once we got to homeroom we waited for school to start. "Good morning, today we will be doing more rescue training, after all of your regular classes and lunch." Mr. Aizawa said....

  Mizuki's POV (after classes going to lunch)

  I started packing up from finishing modern art, we have an assignment due in three weeks, to draw a picture of someone, I want to ask one of my friends. Maybe Izuku or Shoto, it depends who is free. Shoto and I walked through the lunch line and got our lunch, I got a pork cutlet bowl, and Shoto got his cold soba.

Then we went and sat down, and waited for everyone else. First to sit down was Izuku, and then Ochaco and Tenya. "Woah, Mizuki!" I looked over at Ochaco. "I think this is the first time for me seeing you smile!" She said, I could feel my face heating up.

  "Uraraka! That is not appropriate to comment on!" Tenya shouted, moving his arm in a chopping motion. "Oh sorry!" She said, shaking her hands. "It's okay." I said, continuing to eat my meal. Suddenly there was an alarm going off. "Students and staff, please leave the school, and go to the school grounds, this is not a drill, please evacuate the school building." We heard principle Nezu's voice come over the intercoms.

  "Hey whats going on?" Izuku asked and upperclassmen. "I don't know, in my three years here this hasn't happened, but you should get out of here!" We all looked at each other and quickly got up and to the hallway. Once we got to the hallway we were all swept away with the crowd. We tried to stay together but with all the panic and chaos, we were pulled apart. Shoto tried to grab my hand, but I was pulled deeper into the crowd.

  Suddenly I saw Tenya floating and he used his engines to fly above the crowd to get everyone's attention. "Everyone please calm down! It's the media outside!" Tenya shouted over the crowd, everyone calmed down and I was able to make it back to Shoto, he grabbed my hand. "Are you alright?" He asked, I nodded shaken still with panic.

  "Are you okay?" I asked back, he nodded. "Keep holding my hand in case." He said, I nodded. We were all able to make it outside calmly and we met up with our class there. Once the police got to the school the media was gone, and we went back to finish our lunch, and then we grabbed our hero costumes in our classroom and went to the locker rooms.

  "I wonder where we're going to be doing rescue training today." Toru asked, I nodded. "Me too." I said, putting on my gloves. "You seem like your in a good mood today." Kyoka commented. I blushed, "Y-Yeah, um..." Momo smiled, "I'm glad you are feeling good, you seem much more yourself." She smiled brighter. I gave a nervous chuckle, and got up "W-Well I'll see you guys out there." I said, leaving fast because it felt awkward.

  I met Shoto outside, "Hi Mizuki, are you ready for class?" He asked, I nodded, and we walked outside to the front, where a bus was waiting for our class, and we saw Mr. Aizawa. "Hi Mr. Aizawa." I waved, with a small smile. He had a surprised look on his face.

  "Why are you so happy today?" He asked, I shrugged. "I guess I had a good weekend is all." I said back, he nodded. "Well thats good to hear." He said back, we heard chatting behind us, and I turned to see the rest of our class walking to the bus.

  "Mr. Aizawa? What are you doing here, I thought All Might was teaching us today." Izuku said. "Well All Might used up to much energy, so he's in a lounge room, thats what he gets for resolving three conflicts this morning. So your stuck with me today." Mr. Aizawa said, no wonder I haven't seen All Might at all.

  "All right everyone, line up in single file line in numerical order, to board the bus!" Tenya said waving his arms. Tenya really is kicking it into high gear. We all boarded the bus, and I sat next to Shoto while Izuku sat next to Tsu and Tenya, and Ochaco was sat somewhere else on the bus. And everyone else were talking, about quirks....
