Chapter 34

Mizuki's POV

  I looked around to try and find someone to team up with. And I layed eyes on Izuku who was by himself, because he's worth so many points. I decided, if he'll want me to, team up with him, I'll help him. I started making my way over to him, when I saw Ochaco, Izuku's eyes started to leak.

   When I got over to them, I grabbed his attention. "U-Um, Izuku. May I team up with you and Ochaco?" I asked quietly, he smiled. "Are you sure? I'm worth so many points." He said, but then I said "If we run away the whole time, and try to avoid the other teams, we can win that way too." I said, shrugging.

  He smiled brightly "Right!" Him and Ochaco both became motivated. "Okay, then we need one more person, and I think I know the perfect one." Izuku said, putting his fingers to his chin thinking, and then looking around. Ochaco and I both followed Izuku as he went over to Tokoyami.

  It makes sense, if me and Ochaco are on the sides, Tokoyami can help us defend on long range, while we stay away. "Tokoyami! Will you team up with us?" Izuku asked, Tokoyami looked taken aback, but then asked "How can I be of help?" He looked at Dark shadow and then back at us.

  "Well your quirk! Dark Shadow! You see, I've observed that you are best with mid to long range attacks, and with Mizuki's force fields, it would be an extra reinforcement for us. Not to mention for an escape Uraraka could make us float, and Mizuki could help guide us, and break our fall. Plus Dark Shadow I've also noticed is more on the defense side." Izuku said.

  I shouldn't be surprised but, he came up with all of that as we were coming over here to talk to Tokoyami. "I see, I am a good choice for our team. And it seems you have a good understanding on Dark Shadow, I've only told Koda, and he's a man of few words, so you couldn't have known." Tokoyami said, as we walked over to a corner to come up with a plan.

  I zoned out as Izuku started rambling. Looking over to the opening to the area, I saw two people standing. I was confused at first, until I used my quirk to allow me to see clearly. It was them! I blinked a few times, taking off my glasses I rubbed my eyes, trying to stop seeing them.

  It might just be me grieving or me being sleep deprived, and seeing hallucinations. But I've been seeing them all week around my house, and whenever I look outside. I let out a quiet sigh and put my glasses on. "Alright so here's my idea! Uraraka whenever we need to get away, make us float, and Mizuki put a force field under us quickly so we can shoot into the sky and be above everyone, then Mizuki you'll guide us through the air, and protect us when Uraraka releases us in the sky." Izuku said, we were given our head bands.

  I nodded tying my points to my head. "And then Tokoyami, you'll protect us from the front from any attacks, if needed, tell Mizuki to make a force field around us." Izuku said, me and Tokoyami both nodded to each other. There is no time for me to worry about my hallucinations.

  "ATTENTION 5 MINUTES UNTIL OUR SECOND EVENT WILL START!" Midnight stated, getting our attention. Izuku took off his shoes so he wouldn't hurt our hands. And then he got on my hand, and Ochaco's hand, Tokoyami put his hands under mine and Ochaco's supporting Izuku's weight.

  Izuku pulled his headband on and then asked us "Uraraka are you ready?" Ochaco responded, "Lets do this!" She yelled, "Tokoyami?" He asked, "I'm ready as well." Tokoyami responded, "Mizuki, are you ready?" He asked looking down at me, I nodded, giving a ready look. He nodded, "All right let's do this!" Izuku said.

  "Eraserhead, do you see some good teams?" We heard present Mic ask. "I definitely see some unexpected team ups." Mr. Aizawa said. "EVERYONE GET READY! IN 3...2...1...BEGIN!" Midnight yelled, we heard a horn and we started. Everyone immediately came for us. I made eye contact with Ochaco, "Hold on!" I said, and put a field down, and launched us into the air.

  I moved us away from the crowd and moved us to the far end of the stadium, making it hard for the teams to catch up right away. "Get ready Mizuki!" Ochaco shouted back. I nodded, and Ochaco released us. I put a force field around us as we fell. Making us bounce a few times before the momentum was killed, and then we started running.

  Turning to see how many people were coming, it was a few teams. But Tokoyami blocked oncoming attacks. While I watched our 6's, "Mizuki force field around us!" Izuku called, I quickly pulled one around us. As we kept moving.

  When we got to a part of the stadium where we were running out of room to go. As we were getting ready to go into the air, we saw Shoto's team, which consists of Momo, Tenya, and Denki. Denki was going to use his electricity for sure, but he can't do that while the rest of his friends are exposed.

  "Momo!" Shoto called, and Momo created a thick blanket, so they would be safe from Denki. I couldn't react fast enough, probably because I was tired, but Dark shadow absorbed the electricity, which in turn shocked everyone else.

  "Uraraka! Mizuki! Now!" Ochaco quickly made us light and I bounced us into the air. And moved us to the opposite side again. But everyone wasn't to far behind us. Ochaco dropped us and I again put a field around us, saving us.

  We avoided the other teams, I was taking as many headbands as I could, which only resulted in 100 points, I was putting them around my neck as we went. " TODOROKI'S TEAM HAS MIDORIYA'S TEAM TRAPPED! WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH TWO MINUTES LEFT!" I heard Present Mic yell.

  Damn it, we were trapped....
