I'm bored so I'm gonna answer questions that no one ever asked! :'D

"How did you come up with the idea of Skylar?"

A dream I had 
it was weird

"What animal is Skylar based on?"

I don't know, I just put some random animals in there
her mouth it's from a wolf
she got wings
most of her body it's from a kangaroo's
she makes a howl and some kind of eagle scream
she can act like a cat sometimes
but she's technically a dragon?

She's just a mess

"Why is her wing broken?"

The circus man didn't want her to just fly away so he ripped her tail feathers and broke part of her wing so she couldn't fly

"What does that uh.. dragon...eat?"

Ohoho more mess

Her species was from the trees before, so they were used to fruits

next, they evolved bc....reasons?

and now they're omnivores bc they live in the mountains as protectors of the queen, there's not much food and blah blah blah

But Skylar herself is mostly a carnivore because the circus mAn wanted her to be intimidating
feeding her with meat in front of people
sharpening her teeth

etc

"How did a creature manage to not be found out at first?"

No, I mean

Humans started hunting her species because of their blood having healing powers (Yeah, they do)

So the worlds separated blah blah blah

Her mom went into the human world with a human disguise

love

Skylar

In her world flying, hiding, swimming, and basically different ways to use their abilities to hide from hunters is a priority

So they made sure to teach the young ones how to use them

The first one was to hide

It was very simple for Skylar because of her being a hybrid

so Rookie has a human-like form along with Linda

So they decided to go to the human world just to see

Yeah y'all know what happens next

"Ok so, if Skylar's world has the priority to teach the young ones to flee from danger..how did she not learn to fly?"

Haha plot convenience

Those classes were for later

So, Skylar decided to go to the human world from down, pretty much ignoring her parent's cries

"Wait, classes? Why didn't her parents teach her to fly?"

They're guards and healers/medics of that world

They also had their work to do and recollect food for themselves

Along with a surprise for Skylar

"Did she ever come back?"

Well yes

But also no

I'm really into making different universes for my characters

Each action could change anything

Skylar had two options

Give up on all hope    or    Continue having hope

Accept her possition and adapting to it

 that's what she choose

She mostly forgot about her friends, but still had dreams about them
so she convinced herself they were not real or in the past

she decided to not use her unleashed form so she could live a normal, average and boring human life

Not complaining

She convinced herself that her friends forgot about her

She forgot about them too.

Continue being alert all times

Maybe she could have hope for some more time

Who knows if maybe today can be the day she comes back

She was always that friend that doesn't give up, so..why change now?

It was her hope that let her out of that circus

Why give up now?

She heard some familiar call that she recognized from somewhere

She ran towards the voice, answering it's call

She found herself near a lake 

Tears fell down

She heard a sound so she looked around 

A hand was placed on her shoulder

"I knew you wouldn't give up"

She then knew

The tears were from happiness.

"Woah that was cringy af, can you tell me how tf did she hear the noise?"

She had good audition even after all those years of loud noises

She was a magic creature after all
