I freeze. My whole world seemingly stops and my body tenses in shock as I hear the little pitter patter's of footsteps slowly reaching from behind me. She's here,, there's no escape. Slowly regaining control of myself, I collect my thoughts and try and conduct a plan in my head. What could possibly save me from this living nightmare? Accepting my fate I turn around and lock eye contact with- her, the demon. Her eyes howl with a cheeky grin and I'm left stunned, what could she possibly want? She calls my name, it echoes throughout my head leaving a throbbing mark through every wall it hit. "y-yes" I reply, shaking myself back to reality. I muster my courage to look at what she's holding.. her- her iPad? with intent as evil as the devil her gaping eyes peer down at her screen and then back up,, "do- do you need anything?" I exclaim, trying to suppress the swarming emotion inside me. "can you buy me this? pweeeeaaaseee" the thing says, before flipping her iPad only to expose the terrific sight that would traumatize me forever. the light was so bright, blinding if I'm being honest. I stare deeper at the screen, everything falls into focus. "please" her demonic voice whines out again. laying in front of my eyes left me speechless
