Chapter 3

SCARLETT POV:

I run all the way to school im tired of his arrogance honestly he doesnt exactly have the best reputation at school but 96% of the girl population at school finds him appealing or has done the dirties with him.Guys like him hardly ever notice me but If they do its mostly so they can bully me.

JOSH POV:

All that is going threw my head is why did I care so much when mindy insulted her like I could ever care for a girl like that girl that I dont even know her name.right?

She must be some chick for jumping and running out of the car.Like I should care I dont chase after girls they chase after me.But her eyes are like a woodsy green and her lips so full and plum.What no I cant be thinking like this.I can get anyone I want and im going to get her.Hopefully.I got it ill ask if shes okay.

I was so lost in my tought that I almost couldnt hear that annoying voice.Almost.

"Joshy we're here"Mindy giggled.If it wasnt for this girls looks she wouldnt even be near me.Shes the type of girl who is spoiled and could possibly be smart but you could never know since shes a wannabe like all the other girls at this school.Except that girl.Okay I litterly need to know her name like now.

"Uhhhh Joshy uhh hello"Mindy waved her hand in my face.

"Uh Can I help you"I said annoyed.

"Well I figured you could walk me to class and I can entertain you on the way there"Mindy said seductively.

"Cant you see im clearly busy right now you have legs why dont you walk your self to class"I said more annoyed if possible.

"Look Joshy if this is about Scarlett you should know she doesnt belong in our world she probably doesnt even deserve to sit her flat butt in your backseat"Mindy said.

"Whatever just leave me alone"I spit back.

She huffs and strutts away.

So her name is Scarlett I see.I still dont understand how Scarlett has such an effect on my actions I dont even know her.

SCARLETT POV:

When I reach my locker a sigh of relief escapes my mouth.I open my locker then someone slams it and I move quickly so my fingers dont get squished.I look up and see none other than David and his little gang.Short introduction David is the schools bully.

"Oh im sorry did I almost hit you?"David said innocently.

I nodd.

"Well I wont miss this time"Davis says and soon his fist hits my stumach.I instantly fall and my eyes get watery.Davis just kicks me while im on the ground and Mindy and her clique just laugh and also some other students laugh too.

I was helpless until I heard yelling and it wasnt from Davis cursing at me.I open my good eye and see none other than Josh.

"You all get away from her and if I catch anyone of yall laugh or touch her ill make you wish you werent even born"Josh yells.

Everyone soon scatters away with just me and Josh in the hallway.

Im soon picked up and taken some where I have no idea where.

"You can open your eyes now"Josh says.

I open my good eye and I try to open my other eye but since I got punched on that one it really hurts.Once I take in where I am im shocked im in Joshs car again.im so scared what if he hurts me here .oh no im dead im dead.

"Hey are you okay Scarlett"Josh asks with care.

Theres a lump in my throat im on the verge of crying.I shake my head and mumble a no and I start crying in front of josh.He then does the most unexpected thing he hugs me and repeatedly says "its okay ,they're gone,your safe now".Once I calm down I nodd."Thank you Josh....for rescuing me "

"My pleasure atleast your safe now"he responds.

"Okay we cant comeback to school"josh says.

"Well then were are you going?"I ask.

"Well WE are going to my house to hang out"josh responds.I dont know what to say so I just nodd.
