Some changes I want to make clear.
Sally Jackson died when Percy was 12. Poseidon signed as Percy's legal guardian and emancipated him and he lived at camp half blood when he wasn't at school. He also gave Percy his surname.
Percy's full name Perseus Achilles Black Jackson Olympia. (Olympia because of Poseidon, Black you will find out later. Percy doesn't know about the Black part.)
Sally went to Ilvernmony and Percy went there as well.
The Jackson are a powerful pure blood family. Same with the Di Angelo's. The Olympia family is like royalty in the wizarding world.
When Gaia was defeated as a last trick she sent her entire monster army a few days after the war to attack camp half blood.
Piper died and Percy went missing. They know he's not dead. The rest of the seven fell into comas while Jason is the only survivor.
Percy was a mentor of sorts to Jason. They formed a brotherly bond and care for each other. Same with Annabeth. Jason and her formed a sisterly bond.
