Ups and Downs

While Ben was happy in his relationship Avery on the other hand had a very confusing relationship. Ashlyn really did like Avery, but she thinks it is ok to mess with his heart. She broke up with him once and they got back together. Avery just misses hanging out with Ben and having his company, but Ben and Amelia really love each other.
Avery was walking down the bridge by the beach having a double date with Ben and Amelia and Him and Ashlyn. Ben turns  toward Amelia gripping her hands. Amelia takes Bens hands and puts them on her waist. Ben looks down at Amelia and kisses her. She kisses him back. Avery just watches them in a look where it feels like to be heart broken. After the kiss Avery just pats Ben on the back, but Ashlyn felt like Avery was a horrible boyfriend because he didn't kiss her. And while Avery and Ashlyn argued Ben and Amelia just walked away and stared at them. Ben didn't even help Avery out. After the argument Avery ran home while Ashlyn ran up to Amelia and grabbed her arm to run home. Ben was looking for Avery, but he was no where to be found. Ben felt like something was off.
Avery started to text Ashlyn to tell her that things weren't going to work out. Here is what he said "Hey Ash I just wanted to say I'm sick of taking you everywhere and buying everything for you. I think I fell out of love with you, Avery." Avery ended up deleting the paragraph and wrote another one "Hey Ash, I really do find feelings for you, but the relationship going on just makes me hurt mentally. I'm sorry to say this Ashy or I should call Ashlyn now. I'm breaking up with you. I'm so sorry. I will buy you one last thing before we let this go. Avery ended up sticking with that paragraph and he ended up buying her black roses. Avery isn't that experienced with relationships since this was only his second one. His ex girlfriend and him just drifted off and went their separate ways.
Ben texted Amelia about the kiss how it meant, so much to him, but how it didn't feel right. Ben ended up texting Amelia a break up message, which didn't work because she didn't get it. The next day at school Amelia went up to him being attached until Ben said, "Amelia get off of me I am done with you." Avery was standing right in front of him while Ben said that to Amelia. Amelia said, "B-But I-I love you!" Ben looked at her mimicking her like, "A-And I-I'm not! I'm sick of you tearing all of my friendships apart! Avery was the only person I needed in my life and you teared it apart by putting my arms on your waist! I wasn't ready to go that far. I'm sorry Amelia, maybe I do love you, but I need Avery more than a pick me girl." Avery just stared at Ben. In Avery's perspective it was like Ben was running slow motion over to Avery.
