A few days after the fight..Aizawa and (Y/n) tried to avoid each other. One wanted to forgive and forget..to start over. The other was terrified of starting over. Of letting him in again. They bumped into each other on occasion but quietly went their separate ways. Though inside, the two knew they couldn't avoid each other for long, how does one throw away years full of happiness? How does one stop caring for a person..they have loved all their life? The truth is, that never fades. You may forget, but inside, the memory stays planted in your heart. And if you forget, something will bring it back. A sight, a smell..something, But It will never leave you.

Aizawa's eyes slowly came to an open as his alarm rang out through the quiet dark room. The morning sun barely peeking out through the thick black curtains decorating Aizawa's bedroom windows. The dark haired male slowly sat up, and stretched out. His muscles moving smoothly under his pale, scar decorated skin. Soon enough he slid from the cool sheets of his bed, and began to get ready for work. He showered, dressed, grabbed some coffee and headed out the door. When he arrived, he found himself glancing around for (Y/n)..but didn't see them. In his classroom, he began to gather up the students.. asking them to put on their hero outfits. The plan was to put them on recuse training. To train for various villain attacks and natural disasters and how to recuse citizens in those situations..little did he know of the trouble soon to come.

Shota Aizawa stood alongside 13, an Astronaut dressed rescue hero, who was an expert in this sort of training. As much as Aizawa attempted to pay attention, his mind wandered off to the situation with (Y/n). He wanted to say more to them..but..he wasn't good with words. Never has been. Expressing emotions was never a skill of his. Some called him boring and lame..or cold and strict. But actually, Shota had a small thing for adrenaline and danger. Of course, only when lives weren't at stake. He liked certain risks..and he sometimes enjoyed more outgoing things. Though, barely anyone saw that side to him, maybe Present Mic did a little, but Aizawa usually kept to himself. Training, Going to cafes, and sleeping at home were his favorite things to do. Oh, and taking care of stray cats that came by his apartment. He fed them, and named them. The man had a soft spot for purring little fur balls, and he had zero shame in it. He usually was calm and collected, but now, he hasn't been able to sleep right. His head was filled with sleepless thoughts. He made his workouts twice as tough to keep his mind off (Y/n) but no matter how hard he tried..he couldn't. He began to remember certain memories that he thought he had lost long ago..but they came back to him the moment after the fight. A certain memory crossed his mind as he sat there, drowning out the sound of 13 talking..it was long ago.

On top of a roof near (Y/n)'s old home. Shota and (Y/n) were talking and laughing. They had a big blanket spread out, with a few snacks..the stars overhead. The night was cool, and the sky was clear, blanketed in dazzling stars..and the moon was full. It was one of the few nights that the sky was even remotely clear. Usually, you couldn't see a thing. Aizawa was reflecting on the time they almost stole someone's child because they thought it was lost. (Y/n) was laughing and smiling..their eyes lit up with a bright excitement and friendliness. Aizawa couldn't help but stare a moment. His dark eyes gazed at them..unable to look away. Until (Y/n) mentioned it was getting sort of cold..Aizawa nodded and shifted through the bag he brought with him, and pulled out a blanket, offering it to (Y/n). She smiled and fluffed it out, only to put it over both of them. She scooted closer and leaned her head on his shoulder, closing her eyes for a minute. Aizawa was tense..but slowly placed his arm around (Y/n). He wasn't trying to overstep a boundary, so he was careful. Even though every part in his body urged him to pull her closer. (Y/n) suddenly squealed and pointed over to a spot on the roof..there was a jet black cat with ocean blue eyes, sitting there staring at them. (Y/n) raced off, and lifted the cat up. Being careful. But the cat leaned into her touch and meowed, wanting pets. Aizawa came over to sit beside (Y/n), a smile on his face. It was..more than anything in the world to see that smile on his best friends face. (Y/n) stroked the cats soft head and glanced to Aizawa.
