Chapter 5: years later

"Alec! Give me that" yelled an older Izzy as she chased her older cousin, or she called him, her older brother.

"No way, you had your 15 minutes," said Alec as he passed his youngest sister, Maddie who walked downstairs

"What are they fighting about?" the young teen asked, she was no longer a little girl, she was now a 15-year-old teen as of that day, she had long blonde hair which she kept straight.

Talia who now had long hair was the one to answer "Alec took the hairdryer from Izzy and now she's chasing him around the house" Talia then turned to Finn who was writing a list of things they needed "add eggs and milk to the list" at that moment they heard a vase break from upstairs, this didn't seem to shock anyone, Talia turned to Finn who was writing a list " and make sure to add two or 3 extra hair dryers and a new vase, and happy birthday peaches"

"Already on it, my love" Both adults started dating about a year and a half ago, and it didn't seem to surprise anyone since they knew it was love at first sight for both adults, what shocked them was how long it took them to get together, 7 and half years was how long it took them "also, happy birthday Maddie"

"Thanks, Dad, thanks Mom" the young blonde smiled at her parent figures "Where's Sinner?"

"Right behind you baby sis," said the second older teen, she hugged the blonde as she walked over to her "Happy birthday Mad's"

"Thanks, sis" They couldn't believe it's been 10 years since the day they arrived at their new home and since the day they left their old lives behind them

"Happy birthday sissy," said Izzy as she and Alec came into the kitchen and each hugged her.

"Thanks, guys" They each grabbed a plate of cloud-egg Croque Madame

"So what are we planning?" asked Finn as he got his plate

"Well I thought I could stay home today and make some food and maybe decorate the house a bit and you guys can invite your friends over and have them stay over," said Talia as she looked at them "What do you guys think?"

"It's up to Adie," said Izzy to which the others nodded and looked at the younger girl

"Uh sure," Madison then looked at Talia "That be awesome,"

"Okay then, it's official," said Talia as she looked at her adopted daughter with a smile

"Oh bloody-" said Alec which made the others look at him as he looked at his watch

"What's up, bro?" asked Sinner as she continued to eat

"We have about 15 minutes to get to school" he responded as he got

"Shit, let's go" They all rushed out of the house saying bye to the adults

"I can't believe they are already in high school," said Talia as she saw their kids drive away

"Yeah, I can't believe we are raising teenagers already" Finn agreed then got up "Well I'm off as well, I have to help the sheriff with some work" he kissed her cheek as they parted ways

"We made it," said a relief Alec as he sat down

"Hi" a strawberry blonde girl walked over towards them and sat next to Izzy

"Hey, Lyds" greeted Isabelle as she looked at her best friend "Where the others?"

"Oh they'll be here in a bit," Lydia responded as she sat down

"Alright then" replied Izzy as she smiled and talked to Lydia while the other two read or in Sinner's case, slept, that is until a group of six teens walked over
