Introduction and Disclaimer

Hello there, Danosaur or frightened parent hoping to understand the dandom, or fandoms in general. Danosaur: Welcome! Parent: Run far, far away and never look back. Do you understand?

Now that that is settled, let's get down to business. (to defeat... THE HUNS. expect a lot of shitty references. I'm a total geek.)

First of all, Lana del Rey fans, there will be many, MANY small references to titles or lyrics from her songs. I LOVE her music very much, and while she will not actually be mentioned in the story, many of her songs are referenced. (Ex: The title, Dark Paradise, is one of her songs, Lolita, the main character, is one as well, and her last name, Ectric, is taken from Lana's song Body Electric. The last one is lame. I couldn't find anything else that wouldn't be too obvious.)

As mentioned in the description, the cover photo is not mine, though the words on it are. I have no idea why you would want to steal that but... Don't. Also, while we're on the topic, this story is MINE, and will remain that way. Okay? I'm going to be putting a lot of work into this, and I do not want for it to be ripped off.

Any characters/places in the book relating to people in real life are incidental unless I said otherwise. (Such as Dan Howell) Lana's music lyrics and song titles that I will reference or list are not mine, nor am I claiming any rights to them.

Expect updates once every week, and if I'm super lazy I might skip a week. Especially since I am also writing another fanfiction, PewDieCry: Overcoming Judgement. Go check it out if you're into that kind of thing.

Obviously there will be language and general suggestive-ness, so if you are under ten you probably shouldn't read this. But hey, I've been 18+ since I was eight. I'm a rebel that way.

Quick note about my life: I definitely relate to this character and will be basing personal experiences or feelings off my life. I may also feature a few things such as poetry or short stories that I have written whilst undergoing an existential crisis, so if I ever do include a depressing poem in this story I made it off of my current feelings whilst writing.

Continuing note about my life: I am also seen as a 'good girl' to those who do not know me very well, and unfortunately that includes family. I get all As and am practically an angel in front of my family, though at school I'm innapropriate and depressing as fuck to my close friends. Which is exactly two people, three including my best-best-best internet friend DarkestHourOfNight. Please check out one of the ten gazillion stories she's currently writing.
