A princess with hair so red it's almost orange standing in the rain. She is clad in black clothing and a crown. Three large stones on either side of her, engraved with runes and words of praise. Below, two queens and a king lay still.

A crowd, an entire kingdom all clad in black, solemnly bow their heads in respect as a priest recites ancient words and blessings. His voice muffled by the pitter patter of rain drops.

Drip, drop. Drip, drop.

Tears fall from the princess and join the rain falling to the ground. Her tears wet the soil above her sister's grave, but no one notices. She is surrounded by people, yet she is alone.

A young girl with brown hair kneeling in a cemetery,a bouquet of flowers resting on a gravestone, and three words whispered through silent tears.

"Jack, I'm scared."

No one else was with her, save for the spirits of the dead lying in their own coffins. The village had paid its' respects when the boy was first buried five days ago, and left. But this girl has not.

Tears streak down her face and fall onto the unforgiving stone.

Drip, drop. Drip, drop.

The only sounds are the rustling of the leaves and the quiet sobs of a girl crying over her brother's grave.

A lonely girl, a face with tears. A grave of a boy who has been dead for months, yet she is still grieving. A still night when even the stars don't come out.

A hand rests on her shoulder and she turns around.

"Do you miss him?" A woman, hair so red it is almost orange, comes and sits beside the girl. The girl nods.

"When I lost my sister, I didn't stop crying for months." She looks sadly at the gravestone. "I still cry sometimes."

The girl stayed mute.

"But one day I realized: I wasn't crying for my sister anymore. I was crying for me." The girl looked up. "I was crying because I was alone. And I never did like being alone very much."

"Are you still alone?" The girl asked.

"Yes." The woman sighed. She missed her sister very much. Leaves rustled in the wind. "But I don't have to be. And neither do you. We can be alone together."

Not knowing what she meant, the girl did not speak. The wind became chilly, and she shivered. The woman opened her arms and gestured that the girl come closer. When she did, the woman's cloak was draped across her back.

"We can keep each other company." She smiled warmly and wrapped her arms around the young girl. "Would you like that?"

"Okay." The girl said, snuggled the cloak. She smiled warmly at the woman. "Alone together."

A boy in a brown cloak with a staff in hand, and a woman with a blue dress and a braid. A soft breeze blows past them, rustling the leaves. Both stand quietly, two spirits side by side. One is looking at a girl with brown hair, the other a girl with orange hair.

"Do you ever feel lonely?" The boy asks, still watching the two girls sitting by a grave. If one looked closely, they would see eyes full of sadness and longing. "Do you ever miss your sister?"

"Yes." The woman in the blue dress replies. "But I can't dwell on it for long. Besides, I'm not alone anymore. I have you."

She grabs his free hand and smiles at him. "And now our sisters have each other, too."

On the horizon, the sun begins to rise, casting yellows and oranges everywhere. The two spirits have to leave soon. The boy holds out his hand for the woman to take. She casts one last glance at the girls huddled together in the graveyard, even though the girls don't look back. They wouldn't see anything anyway.

When she is ready, she takes his hand. Holding her close, he flys towards away, leaving the grave behind.
