~~~(Eleanor's P.O.V)~~~
"Its 8:00pm.." I yawn while walking back to the hotel, clenching my tally sheet as the cold rain pours on me. At this point I honestly don't care If I won, I just want to get back to the dry hotel. Cursing under my breath about the awful weather when my phone starts to vibrate.
-You make me-
I pull my phone out of my pocket and hold it up to my ear while trying to duck from the rain, "Hello?" I ask, dodging the water droplets unsuccessfully.
"Eleanor? Is everything alright love? Where are you?" Louis worriedly asks on the other line.
"Louis, I'm fine. I'm two blocks away from the hotel." I yawn as I continue to walk, nearly slipping and twisting my ankle. "Whoa that was close." I mutter as I straighten myself out and continue walking.
"Eleanor I'm going to come get you I don't want you by yourself at this time of night." Louis says as I hear thumping noises in the background, I'm assuming he's running.
"Louis I'm fine I'll be there soon." I argue through the phone.
"Eleanor I know you think I'm being over protective but I'd rather be with you knowing your safe." He says, breathing heavily with each word.
"Yes mom." I roll my eyes and continue walking towards the hotel. I can't believe myself. He's being sweet and caring and I'm acting like a brat. I'll owe him later some how.
"I see you!" He yells and before I can say somethng, the line clicks. I look around and see nobody around me except for a little figure in the distance. I then squint to see a running figure coming towards me. "LOUIS!" I yell, waving my arms in the air as I run towards him. He sweeps me off my feet with a hug and places me down gently, still not letting go. His arms snake around my waist as I nudge my head into his hot, sweaty neck. I close my eyes and wrap my arms around his torso as the thunder rumbles in the background. "I've always wanted to a kiss a girl in the pouring rain." He whispers into my ear.
I look up and see him smiling down at me, his hair plastered to his forehead. I giggle and brush a strand of his bangs away from his eyes. Twisting myself around to completely face him. I stand up on my tippy toes watching him smile before he leans in and plants a sweet long lingering kiss on my lips.
Even though the kiss was completely PG there was still something special about it. Maybe because for once I didn't mind being held up in the rain. My feelings for him are so strong but to be honest I'm not sure if he's over Megan yet. To bring happier thoughts I break the kiss with a smile, "You can take that off your bucket list now." I joke as he wraps his arm around me as we walk back towards the hotel.
~~8:15pm
As we enter the lobby, the boys greet us with not-so-welcoming faces. I wonder what the hell their problem is? Like really what did I do? Then, Harry's eyes widen. "What?" I ask, somewhat agitatedly.
"Nothing." He says while staring at me. I look down and notice that my tee shirt is soaking wet and glued to me. "Really Harry?" "I'm a grown boy what do you expect!?" He yells, defending himself and throwing his arms out in surrender.
I can't help but giggle as Louis growls at Harry, smiling like an idiot as I feel his arm tighten around me. Damn he's strong..
"Who got the most tallies?" I ask trying to break the awkward tension. I feel that I've began to ruin the friendship between Louis and Harry a bit. They used to be so playful with eachother and now its sorta like World War 2 between them with all the threats and growling. I feel like I've began to ruin Louis' life with all this drama.
