You need to let her go

3 weeks later.

Y/n's POV
I was on my way to the Slytherin common room to meet up with Pansy and Daphne, we would always meet up before classes to walk together.

"Hey girls" I said waving at them with a big smile.

"Hey Y/n, how are you?"Pansy asked me after Daphne gave me a hug.

"I'm great thanks, how about you?" I asked giving Pansy a hug.

"I'm great to now should we go to class?" Pansy said gesturing to the common room door.

"Yes we should let's go" Daphne said, we all agreed and started walking to the door when it swung open and Malfoy walked in. As he went to walk past us he almost hit me with his shoulder but I stepped aside.

"Watch were your going Malfoy!" I said rolling my eyes at him.

"Oh piss off Mudblood" he said quickly walking out of the common room up to his dorm if I have to guess.

"What a dick" I said rolling my eyes once again which made Pansy and Daphne laugh then we continued walking to our class which was potions. I was actually quiet excited because I'm still working on the project with Cedric and I always have a great time with him whenever we work on it.

We sat down in our usual spots and started unpacking.

"Hey Ced" I said smiling at him and giving him a hug.

"Hey Y/n are you ready to work on the project?" He asked politely with a smile.

"Yes I am let's start" I said smiling back at him and we started working. We discussed our answers and write everything down on a piece of parchment. We had worked for about 15 when I noticed that Daphne was working on the project alone while she should be doing it with Malfoy.

"Hey Daph were is Malfoy? Shouldn't he be here to help with the project?" I asked turning to my side to see her writing something down on her parchment.

"Yes we would but he isn't here, which is quiet annoying because I'm stuck with this question and he is one of the best students in potions so yeah" she said sounding quiet annoyed. I agreed with her and turned back to my project with Cedric.

We were nearly done with our work for today so we started talking and catching up, and just genuinely having a pretty good time. He would tell stupid jokes which would make me laugh.

Then all of a sudden the doors swung open and Malfoy walked inside the classroom and sat down next to Daphne like nothing has happened. But ignored him because he wasn't worth my time anyway, so I just continued talking to Cedric.

Draco's POV
It was early in the morning and I just came home from a death eater meeting. I hated every second of it, besides I have other things on my mind that I should worry about, Which is Y/n.

I came back to Hogwarts very early in the morning, almost everyone was getting ready for class so there were little to no students in the hall. When I finally reached the common room it was almost time for class so I needed to hurry but I didn't care for class besides it was potions, which is one of my best subjects.

I opened the common room doors and was surprised and shocked that I saw Daphne, Pansy and Y/n walking towards the exit of the common room. I was so lost in my thought that I wasn't paying any attention on where I was walking, so I almost hit Y/n while I wanted to walk to my dorm.

"Watch were your going Malfoy!" She said rolling her eyes. I have to admit it did kinda hurt hearing her talk to me like that. And because of that I almost forgot that I had to act as if I didn't like her.
