Draco's POV
The train ride was awfully awkward, we hardly spoke any words. We both stared at the landscapes that we past, although I couldn't help but look over to her every once in a while and admire her beauty. She looked so calm, so peaceful although I knew that there were a million thoughts running through her head.
"For a staring problem Malfoy?" She spoke without looking at me, I blinked a few times realizing I had been staring at her like a creep.
"I uh..." I started but wasn't sure on what to say. I looked up from my fidgeting fingers to meet up with her eyes and I instantly got lost in them. She didn't do anything she just stared back at me, neither of us said anything. It was like time stopped, it was like everything went back to normal.
But I knew that I had to keep up my so called act, so I broke eye contact and scoffed rolling eyes, "who had the staring problem now?" I asked sarcastically immediately looking away. Not gonna lie I did feel a little sad.
"Well played Malfoy" she said with a slight smirk and she looked back at the landscapes.
I looked back at her taken aback at what she just said but I couldn't help but smile, maybe my Y/n wasn't that far away.
Not long after we arrived and we went to Y/n's manor. We were welcomed by her an smile parents.
"Welcome back children" her mother created us with a smile.
"It's good to be back mother" y/n spoke with a smile.
"How have you been?" My mother asked us.
"We've been great mom thank you" I answered as polity as possible knowing that my father could make a problem out of everything, so I try to be on my best behavior when he is around.
"Very well then, Y/n Draco Come inside and unpack your stuff in your rooms" Y/n's father spoke up stepping aside from the door giving up space to get Inside.
"Hello Father" Y/n created her father with a quick kiss on his cheek.
Y/n and I both went upstairs and went to our separate rooms, we were across from eachother at the end of the hall.
I placed my bag on the ground and sat on the bed looking around the room, it was beautifully decorated it matches with the whole manor. It was way more welcoming then my manor. Here were big windows where the sun could shine through but we also have big windows but are covered with big dark curtains, we also have lights and candles everywhere lighting up the area but it is still way to dark for my liking.
I was lost in my thoughts when I heard a knock on my door which shot me back into reality. "Yes come in" I said looking at the door not knowing who to expect.
"Hey honey" my mother said as she walked in my room and closed the door behind her.
"Hello mother can I help you?" I asked trying to sound as politely as possible.
"Well I just wanted to warn you" she said quietly as if she was afraid that somebody would hear us.
"Warn me for what?" I asked being extremely confused.
"For your father, he had been on the edge ever since you got your dark mark" my mother explained as she sat besides me still talking really quietly almost whispering to me.
"Why?" I asked as many questions popped in my head.
"Because the other death eaters are saying that you and your father aren't good death eaters or something like that, and as you know your father is extremely loyal to the dark lord and would do anything to satisfy him. So now because the other death eaters are talking about him and you like that he is afraid to fail. So don't let anything he says to you get to your head okay?" She warned me looking at me with a worried look.
