Old friends

Shinji and Hikari walks around the school while people shows weird glances towards them "so this is Pokemon University thought it would be less judgy in the inside" Hikari said looking around the hallways "just put your hoodie over your head" Shinji said as he puts his hood over his head covering half of his face and Hikari does the same. They were able to get to the office for the schedules and lockers but even the principal even gave them weird glances. It was a free time and Hikari and Shinji just sit at the schools back yard with other students "this school isn't so bad I mean other then the weird glances people are giving us" Hikari said as she lays on her back and hears a fight going on "huh?" Hikari looks at the direction of a fight happening "wonder what's happening over there lets check it out" Shinji said as he gets up helping Hikari up and they went over to the fight

The group pov
In the fight was Ash trying to hurt May as she cries on her knees while Ash being held back by Misty and Gary "Ash calm the Arceaus down this isn't going to bring her back!!" Misty yelled "and who's fault is that! Lets be honest if May didn't had her bag of all of her pokeballs she would still be here but May killed her! you're a killer May!!"Ash yelled "y-you're right I'm the worst best friend ever!!! I wish I was the one in the fire not her!" May said crying but someone wearing a white cloak got in front of her and slaps the daylight out of Ash and made him fall to the ground "h-huh?" May looks up seeing a boy wearing a black cloak helping her up "don't you even dare call this nice girl such a low thing!!" the girl in the white cloak said to Ash very angry as Ash raises his arms in defeat "are you alright?" the boy wearing a black cloak asked May "n-no I-I'm not ok who are you guys?" May asked "I'm Shinji and the girl going to kill that guy is Hikari" Shinji said looking at Hikari "so you better back off buster!!" Hikari said "pfft and whats a girl gonna do- *his nose gets pecked by a Fletchling* agh!" Ash yelled in pain as the Fletchling flies on Hikari's shoulder "nice work Fletch your peck is getting stronger now" Hikari said "Fletch!" the Fletchling smiles at Hikari "you should come with us so you don't get hurt again" Shinji offered "ok" May agreed and goes with Hikari and Shinji

May's pov
Ever since that day at the fire incident a year ago Ash has been hurting me because he thinks it's all my fault for Dawn's death, she was the first friend I ever had when I was little we were best friends over the years then we started to get more friends. At a building we were just hanging out and she asked a favor to hold her bag of her pokeballs while she gives treats to my and our friends pokemons but when a fire started it was too strong so we all ran for our lives and I thought we all made it out but Dawn was still inside and the exits were blocked. Ash hurt me for almost a year or two and I cried every day every time I remember Dawn. At school me and my friends were at the back yard and Ash being hold back from hurting me until a girl wearing a white cloak slapped Ash very hard, I was shocked and surprised when she did that then a guy in a black cloak helped me up which I think those two were the new students the professor talked about, when I asked who were they his name was Shinji and the girls name is Hikari, when I heard their name they sounded very familiar like it was supposed to be a last name or something. I started to hang out with them when Hikari was done with Ash. "by the way my names Hikari and you are?" Hikari asked for my name "um May" I said nervous like and we sit on a lunch table "you guys shouldn't wear your hoodies on all the time" I said to them "but I don't want weird glances on us again" Hikari said complaining and I was confused of what she mean by that "well when we first came to the school not wearing our hoodies we did get weird glances for some reason but I'm not sure what" Shinji said "are you guys siblings or something?" I asked out of curiosity "oh please wouldn't want to be related to troublesome here" Shinji said smiling a tiny bit "I keep telling you to stop calling me that!!!" Hikari said getting angry and I laughed a bit but when I heard the phrase troublesome I couldn't help but feel like I heard it from someone.
Past
When I was talking with Dawn walking around the halls Dawn fall down because Paul sticked his foot out and tripped Dawn on purpose "ow!!" Dawn said in pain but I helped her up "what the heck Paul!!" Dawn yelled but Paul doesn't care and just shows his usual face "not my fault you're clumsy and would watch where you're going troublesome" Paul used the nickname for Dawn just to annoy her "IT'S DAWN D.A.W.N!!!" "whatever" Paul just rolled his eyes and leaves
Past over

Still May's pov
So that's where I heard it from so apparently the nick name is common then? "if we take our hoodies off you won't give us a weird look?" Hikari said "yes I won't judge you guys" I said as Shinji and Hikari got ready to pull their hoodies off. When they both pulled it off my eyes just went wide as a second I just looked at them. D-Dawn? P-Paul? Shinji had purple hair the style as Paul's was. Hikari had yellow hair clips and blue hair the same style as Dawn's was but without the beanie...wait what if.

Shinji and Hikari Pov
"....ok um May you there?" Hikari said waving to May and Shinji snapping his fingers to May "D-Dawn....P-Paul? h-how are you guys alive?"May said tearing up. Hikari and Shinji just looked at each other confused but then Hikari just went over to May and hugged her "May you might be mistaken us for other people" Hikari said hugging May and rubbing the back of May's head comforting May as she cries "I'm sorry it's just I missed my best friend so much you remind me so much of her!" May cries hugging Hikari as Shinji pats May's back gently.

Gary's Pov
It really took me by surprise that a girl would slap Ash like that, she must be a new student same as the guy in a black cloak, something odd was going on and it involves the new students, an hour later I was still hanging out with the group talking some sense into Ash but then at a corner of my eye I saw May walking around the halls walking in the middle of the two new students that had the black and white cloak but with the hoodies off. May and the new girl was laughing and the new guy was listening to their conversation and I couldn't believe what I am seeing that the new students had the same face and hairstyle as Dawn's and Paul's "uh guys?" The gang looked at me as I called to them "I can not be seeing what I am seeing right now" as I said that they looked where I was looking and had shocked impressions when they looked at the new students.
