The Memories

After getting all of the pokemons back to their rightful owners, May invited Gary, Serena, Hikari and Shinji to her house to try to understand Hikary and Shinji.

"so Gods of life and death huh?" Gary asked as Hikari sat on a couch having her Fletchling on her lap sleeping while Shinji leans onto a wall crossing his arms at the group "sighs* yes..." Hikari said looking at her Fletchling "and I always try to get Hikari not to tell you guys since I don't really much give people my trust so easily" Shinji said and May looked at Hikari all upset like she was about to let tears drop seeing her best friend alive from the dead but a different person " so what can you guys do?" Serena asked "um...I can heal pokemons by my powers and grow plants faster and bigger and can even summon all kinds of plants even rare ones" Hikari said "I can see spirits but only me and Hikari can and I mostly take care of them and can even give second chances as long as the spirit is worthy of it, and if people tries to piss me off I will either give them a little sickness or death the next day and I can even summon spikes when ever I want to for emergencies or scare off intruders" Shinji said "and you better had given that guy the glare that would given him sickness" Hikari said looking at Shinji "ugh I did but that a-" Hikari glares at Shinji knowing what he was gonna say "...brainless jerk kissed my own best friend in front of me so I wanted to protect her" Shinji said and May and Serena goes awe a bit and Hikari smiles at Shinji "it's very strange hearing this from Paul telling about Dawn being his best friend" May said whispering to Gary "it is strange" Gary whispered back. May thought for a bit until she went to her room getting something and it was a beanie that used to be Dawn's and a dark purple jacket that used to be Paul's "aw what a cute beanie!!" Hikari said as her eyes shines at the white and pink beanie "...it was a friend of mine....she has always been a best friend to me...I always cleaned it while she is away...you can try it on if you like" May said giving the beanie to Hikari "can I go to a mirror?" "yeah there's one at my bedroom" May said and Hikari gently puts Fletchling on a pillow not waking him up and went to May's bedroom and got in front of a mirror and took her cloak off and put the beanie on "wow this beanie goes very well with my hair clips!...and so does my outfit...which...seems familiar" as Hikari walked closer to the mirror look towards herself closely but then started to have a vision but was a bit too bright to clearly see and hear two little girls giggling with each other and the vision changed to Paul and Dawn but as Dawn being bullied by Paul, the vision stopped as she blinked "what...was that?" Hikari asked herself and walked out of the room going back to the group and May looked at Hikari and her eyes widens as Gary does too "this beanie is really cute May!" Hikari said but then looked at May as May's legs started to shake and her knees dropped to the ground whimpering and starting to cry covering her face. Hikari came to May all worried "Dawn It's all my fault!!" May said crying "May are you ok??" Hikari asked " I'm sorry but...I just can't take it!" May yelled and cried "May please don't cry I don't wan't my best friend to cry" those words hit May into shock remembering the exact words.

May's Pov
"wwwaahh!!" young me cried since my knee got hurt from tripping "May are you ok??" my best friend Dawn came to me all worried "no it hurts!! wahh!!" I cried so much "May please don't cry I don't want my best friend to cry" she took out Piplup bandaids and put them on my knee "there you go! I put googly-eyes to make them funny and cute" Dawn told me and it made me smile a bit slowing down my crying "they are funny!" I said and Dawn had two Googly-eyed Piplups on her cheeks and does a piece sign over her right eye and smiles and it made us both laugh making me forget of the pain I had then the memory started to stop, making our childhood laughs sound like an echo.

I still looked at Hikari all in shock, she smiled at me but still had worry on her face and I just quickly put my arms around Hikari's neck and hugged her while I whimper and cry 'please Dawn I want you back please I want my best friend back!!'

Hikari looked at May for a second and hugged back closing her eyes and smiled while the others was worried for May.

After sometime of May crying, they all talked calming May down then May wanted to show Hikari and Shinji something at her back yard "I want to show you guys something and it might get a bit of your guy's memories" May said and Hikari and Shinji looked at each other and shrugged going to May's back yard and Hikari was amazed by all of the pokemons there "oh my Arceus this is amazing!" "who's pokemons are those?" Shinji asked "well...um they were your guy's pokemons..before you guys died that is" May said looking a bit upset by the memory.

"everyone!! Meet Hikari and Shinji!" May called out to them and they looked at the group and all of the pokemons looked shocked and started to run towards Hikari and Shinji while they looked at a pokemon Tsunami and they both get tackled by their pokemons and they started to have parts of their memories of every single pokemon they catch and have. Piplup was hugging Hikari and crying so much while the other pokemons cuddles Hikari tickling her "hahaha!! guys cut it out that tickles!" "ooff!! what the heck!" Shinji said being tackled by pokemons, as they cuddled him happy to see him again a pokemon came towards Shinji and hold their hand out offering some help and Shinji took it and stand up looking at the pokemon that helped him "in-infernape?" Shinji said looking at Infernape. Infernape still wasn't happy for what Paul had done to him but he still cared for Paul and was happy to see him alive and hugged him "Infernape!" Infernape said being happy to see him again, Shinji hesitated and started to regain some memories of what he had done to Infernape in his old life, brought himself to guilt and hugged Infernape back which surprised his pokemons and Infernape not expecting Paul to have ever hugged "I'm sorry for what I had done to you...all of you" Shinji said still hugging Infernape, Infernape smiled and still hugged him now all of his pokemons started wanting hugs from Paul and tackled him again " agh!" Shinji yelled from being tackled. May and Hikari find it adorable and they both giggled "I never took Shinji to be a hugger" May said "he can be but he doesn't very much do it very often" Hikari said but then started to remember Infernape "isn't Infernape another person's pokemon?" Hikari asked "yes Infernape belongs to-...wait...how did you know that?" "hmm? oh I'm not sure...just by looking at Infernape ..." May looked at Hikari for a bit and started to think it's working "li-li-little h-help here!!" Shinji yelled being hugged to death Electivire wanting a hug from his owner and the girls giggled going to help Shinji.
