‘Hey, I'm Jimin’ The boy said, smiling.

Jennie, to Jimin's surprise, smiled back and replied ‘Oh hi! I'm Jennie. Nice to meet you!’

‘Nice to meet you too’ He said.

‘You're the same age as me, right?’ She asked as Jimin was sitting next to her on a couch.
‘Yes I guess, I'll be 18 in October.’

‘That's nice then. Did you come here alone?’

‘Oh, hum, no actually my friend Jeongguk told me to come at this party with him.’

‘Oh wow, you're Jungkook's friend ? A smart student like you?’ She said as she wore surprise all over her face.

‘Y- You think I'm smart?’ Jimin said, blushing

‘Well, of course, everyone knows it. Just look at your grades.’ She said, placing her hand on his thigh and slowly looking up at him ‘and... You're pretty hot too’
She said, slightly smirking.

Jimin was a mess inside his head. His heart was beating so hard against his chest that he was scared Jennie might hear it. He was blushing so hard that even a tomato wouldn't describe the colour of his face.

‘O-oh I- I- Uhm- Th-Thank you’
He wanted to facepalm himself for being a stuttering mess like that. ‘You look hotter tho’ he managed to reply, still red as hell.

‘Aw thanks Jiminie’ she replied smirking but with fondness in her eyes to that cute shy Jimin.

And with that, they continued having a normal conversation. Normal, but Jennie still keeping her hand on Jimin's thigh and Jimin still a blushing mess in front of his crush.

Jeongguk, curious about his friend, told himself a few times that he should leave Jimin alone with his crush. Nevertheless, something inside the playboy told him to check on him. So, the curious Jeongguk went to where Jennie was, just to feel his heart clench with anger and sadness at the sight. Jennie was being touchy with his Jiminie and Jimin's face was all red from shyness.

What was this feeling? Why was he sad and why was he mad ? Why these two feelings at the same time? What could make his heart pain so much?

His best friend seemed to do pretty well at flirting and would probably date his crush, so why was he feeling so bad? He should he happy for Jimin.

Feeling so confused, he decided to stop spying on his best friend and just come back to his friends.

‘Yo, Jeongguk, is everything alright bro?’ His friend Felix asked.
‘Yeah yeah, don't worry I'm just kinda tired and I think I drank a bit too much haha’

‘Ah okay I see. Are you sure you'll be able to go back home tonight? Mark has rooms if you want. I don't think he would mind you staying here.’

‘Thanks but it's alright haha, I don't want to be a burden. Plus, I have a friend that I have to drive back home or his parents will kill me.’

‘Be careful. He can stay there too anyways.’ Mark added, joining the conversation.

After talking for some time and getting to know each other better, Jimin and Jennie decided to drink. ‘So, Jimin-ssi, are you ready to get drunk?’ Jennie said with a smirk.
‘Hum ye-yeah I guess...’

‘Oh come on, take that glass of Vodka, it'll be fun!’.

Jennie handed Jimin a little glass half-filled of Vodka. Jimin took it and looked at Jennie drinking her first shot of Vodka. He didn't want to look like some dumb kid who never got drunk so he did like her, and let the liquid run down his throat, leaving a burning sensation making him cough.
