✿ Talks With Tsukki ✿

Wiping down tables while music plays in the back has always been Sage's favorite part of the job. They loved closing time, especially with Semi and Yams, these nights were memorable to Sage. They know that they'll look back on these times and remember how happy they were and lucky to have met the two. 

"Sage... you've been wiping that table for the past five minutes, you good?" Semi asks while cleaning the coffee machine. 

" Yeah, I'm fine sorry." Sage chuckles while moving onto the next table. 

The only thing on Sage's mind was Yachi, the girl felt so familiar yet they couldn't figure out where they knew her from. 

"Well, I finished cleaning out the backroom, and I'm going to head home." Yamaguchi ruffles his hair while taking off his hat. 

"Bye Yams get home safe!" Sage waves as he walks out of the cafe. Sage then turns to Semi and says 

"Two best friends in a room... might kiss." put their thumb and index finger under their chin and bite their lip while squirting their eyes.

Semi looks at them in utter disgust and throws a towel at them. 

"Who says you're my best friend?" Semi says raising an eyebrow and continues cleaning. 

Sage gasps dramatically and clutches their chest, 

"How could you say that? After all we've been through?". Semi looks at them with no expression on his face and continues cleaning. 

Sage sighs in defeat, "hey you remember the girl who came in earlier ?" 

Semi walks towards sage taking his apron and hat off, "The blonde one?" 

Sage nods their head. "Do you think Yam's knows her?" 

Sage thought it was a bit odd that not only did he know her name but he also made and paid for her drink. He knew her in some way but they didn't want to assume. Sage wasn't going to lie and say that they found the blonde attractive. 

"Mmh they might be friends? But I'm not a hundred percent sure." Semi shrugs. 

"Well, I'm gonna grab a brownie cause I promise samu that I'd get him one. Get home safe Semi!" Sage calls out from behind the counter. 

Sage hears the bell ring signaling that Semi has left. Sage lets out a sigh and sits in one of the chairs, they let their mind wander to the blonde once again. Sage wonders if they'll see her again, she seemed so bubbly and fun to be around and Sage couldn't stop themselves but be drawn to the blonde. Sage feels a buzz in their pocket, they take out their phone and see that it's a message from Tsukki telling them that he's here. Sage grabs the chair and puts it on top of the table and makes their way to the door. They lock the door and make their way toward Tsukki. 

"Hey, how was work." Tsukki greets them. 

"Same as always." Sage shrugs. They walk a block or two talking about work and school until Sage decides to bring up the girl they meet at work, 

"By any chance do you know anyone name Yachi?"

Tsukki looks at them and tilts his head, "Yeah we went to high school together, why do you ask.". Sage's eyes light up when they realize they have a mutual friend. 

"Well she came in and Yamaguchi seemed to know her and I know you too are besties so." 

Tsukki looks over at his shorter friend with a blank look. 

"Also I think that she's really pretty and seems nice. I'm too nervous to tell yams," Sage says quietly but loud enough for Tsukki to hear. 

Tsukki stops and looks at them with wide eyes, never in his time know sage have they shown any kind of self-doubt or shyness. Sage was always the one who went to parties and was talking to random people. 

"Kei?" Sage brings him out of his trance, 

"Yeah sorry, I'm not the closest to her but if you want I can tell Tadashi about it?". 

"You'd do that for me" Sage looks at him. 

"Yeah why wouldn't I?" Tsukki nudges them. Sage smiles and grabs his hand. 

"You're my new bestie Kei!" Sage swings their hands back and forth. 

Tsukki lets out a chuckle and continues to walk home with them. Tsukki liked seeing Sage happy, it's what they deserve after all they've been through.
