chapter two~new guys

"Thats Luis Mendoza ,he's from our Miami club. A real speedster. Incredible skater" Tibbles exclaimed. *Luis looks at you ,he smiles and winks* which makes you instantly blush because he is new and cute and he winked at YOU! *Luis starts to skate around* "Good looking skater" Connie said "Yes very good looking" Lester replied "what do you think Guy?" Lester asked "Shut up Averman" Then Guy elbowed him in the ribs. "He has one minor problem, he has troubles stopping" Tibbles went on as Luis skated into the boards me, Adam and Charlie rushed over to help him "Almost had it that time" Luis exclaimed, everyone chuckled. "Yee-haw! How is everyone! Yall ready to play some puck?" Dwayne said. "Thats Dwayne Robertson from Austin, best puck handler I've ever seen" Mr. Tibbles said. "You mean for his age?" coach asked "No i don't." Tibbles replied quickly "And thats on periodt!" i "whispered" "Bombay you say something?" coach asked you. "U-uh no coach s-sorry".(You have made it very clear to him in the past that you want to be treated like any other player on the team and not get special treatment just because you're his daughter ) Then there is Julie "the Cat"Gaffney. "Connie we'll finally have another girl on the team!" you said "yeah!" Connie answered. "I call dibs on the girl!" Fulton said "That's not fair you can't call dibs on her i want her" Goldberg replied "Well i can't have Harper so" Fulton shot back "Oh shut it Reed you know we're besties" you said back "I can't have her either." Goldberg replied. "She won state championship for Maine three years in a row" Don said "Isn't that the kid from the Olympics.......the figure skater?" Gordon claimed. "Yup. What can i say? I convinced him hockey was the future ,put a stick in his hand and no one has touched him since!" Tibbles answered. (Heavy metal playing through headphones) "That guy's a teenager?" coach asked "Uh yeah ,Hormones really got this one" Tibbles said. You looked back at Fulton instantly as he looked at you ,you both gave each other a 'new bash bro' look. "C'mon Tex sing it with me" Dean said to Dwayne "Uh n-no" Dwayne answered. *coach blows whistle* "Alright let's play some hockey!! Scrimmage." Coach yelled. Luis and Charlie took face off and Luis got the puck and immediately knocked down Charlie and started to skate down towards Goldberg. "Whoa man slow down" Goldberg told Mendoza. "GOLDBERG LOOK OUTTT" you yelled. "Too late anyway shawty" Adam said while skating beside you. *Luis skated right into Goldie* "Hey thanks for breaking my fall man" Luis said. "Yeah man anytime" Goldberg responded. Next Adam and Dwayne took face off, Adam got the puck and passed it to you but you saw Dean coming after you so you skated faster and passed it to Jesse but as you were doing so Dean checked you into the boards. "OW well i mean at least he'll make a good bash bro" you thought to yourself. Jesse then passed it back to Adam and he scored! After about fifteen minutes of that coach called everyone in and said "Harper you're gonna teach Mendoza here how to stop" "Got it dad oops i mean coach, sorry". Luis and you skated over to the end of the rink "i didn't know coach was your dad" said Luis "Yeah......" You responded. You start to skate around to show him how to properly stop "Wow how did you get that good?" "Lot's of practice and pressure from my dad i guess." you replied. Luis practiced stopping for like an hour until he finally got it! "AHH i did it!" Luis yelled "yeahhhhh you did!" you answered, he skated over to you and gave you a big hug basically lifting you off the ice "thank you Harper seriously i couldn't have done it without your help" he said whilst hugging you.  "Charlie look Harpers hugging the new guy" Adam said to Char "Don't worry bout it man you know she likes you." Charlie answered. "Alright ducks come in" Bombay yelled to everyone but primarily you and Luis. "Today was a good day, go on get changed." Coach said. You walked behind Lester and Dean on the way to the locker room, "Whoa is that real?" Lester asked Dean. Dean just barked at him and Lester than left so you walked beside Dean and said "Nice tattoo, when did you get it?" Dean yet again barked "You don't scare me Portman." He looked down at you and gave you a glare so you walked away to go to Connie and Julie but as you were walking away you heard Dean say quietly "I like her" which made you feel good because the big goon didn't hate you which means you could ask him to be a bash bro with you and Fulton to make the bash trio in the future. As you guys were walking in you asked Julie and Connie if they wanted to sleepover at your house this weekend and of course they said yes.

A/N: If you were wondering and even if you weren't. Everyone calls you shawty mainly because at the beginning of practice in the locker room almost every week you play 'Low' yk the song that goes 'SHAWTY got them apple bottom jeans(jeans) boots with the fur( with the fur) got the whole club looking at her she hit the floor next thing you know SHAWTY got low,low,low,low' and you go down as if you were shawty ;)
