“ So, what’re you planning to do?”

“ Umm, I guess go home and watch TV?”

Ellie giggled, “ Not now, silly; I mean this summer.”

“Oh, right. I don’t know just yet. I’ll… figure something out. And, what about you?”

“ Yeah, I don’t know either but, my parents are planning to go hiking, so I’m going to be alone.”

“ You’re not going?”

“ Yup, not really my thing. You know what, why don’t you come over and stay at my place for some time, that’d be fun.”

“ I don’t know Ellie,”

“ What is there to not know? Just come and stay, I’m starting to think you don’t like me anymore!”, she laughed.

I looked up to the ceiling. I always did that, like there was some sort of message up there.

“ Yeah, actually I could stay for a few weeks, it won’t hurt.”

“ There is my girl! So, when do you wanna come over?”

“ Tomorrow?”

“ Woah, what’d you drink, Riley?”

Yeah, my name is like a boy’s name, right? Well, it is actually ‘Rileatta’ but, who cares?

“ Say yes before I change my mind!”

“ Ok, ok,” she smiled, “ I’ll pick you at eleven.”

“ Wait, eleven a.m.?”

“ Yeah, what’d you think?”

“ Nothing,”

“ Ok then, kisses!”

“ Bye.”

“What things?” I lifted one of my eyebrows.

“ Honey, I don’t know, things like doing makeup or braiding each others hair, or…”
