A picture of the queen :3

“ And next guest, Lady Lorcefield!”

Lorcefield? What was that? I sighed. I had to go in. I had promised the princess. There was a man who had a black west and some black pants. He announced who was coming to the ball. I was actually excited. I got to be in a ball like the ones I’ve seen in the movies. I looked at my silver shoes and my puffy velvet dress. It was beautiful. I wondered how much it costs. I shrugged. I widened my black laced choker. I was harrassing my neck. I had my hair down. They came down to my shoulder. I actually felt beautiful once in a while.

I slowly walked on the marble floor. I took a deep breath. There were stairs going down to the ball area. I wnt on the red rug. I could see the queen. She had a special place. She was sitting on a cotton chair. She was so elegant. She was perfect to be a queen. She had a little platform where she could watch everyone from.

“ What is your name, ma’m?”

“ Sorry, what?”

“ Your name, I have to announce it.”

“ Oh right, it’s Madelyn…” I looked up. Would I rather say my real lastname or not? I couldn’t think of anything else. But I had tp be smart about this. I couldn’t say my last name, if I couldn’t say my first name.

“ Madelyn… Madelyn Lenstrich.”

“ And here comes, Madelyn Lenstrich!” I felt like everybody looked at me. I thought it would be like it was in the films, where everyone is astonished by how you look. But not here. Everyone looked at me like I was a rat coming from the sewage. I saw some bits of jealousy in their look, which kind of made me happy.

I could see the queen looking at me as well, in a depreciatory way. I didn’t care about it, just to make her mad, and I acted like I was from a royal family. I saw a bar where they had tons of different food, I jumped into it. They were all so different, but delicious. The only things that were a bit familiar was the strawberry sherbet and the tasty meat stew.

After I ate some food, I started dancing. There were so many people, and so many handsome men! When a blond one started looking at me, I blushed.

“ Hello, your majesty.”

“ Excuse me, who are you?” she said staring at the crowd.

“ I think you know,” I said, starting to get a little rebellious. She looked at me with her amber coloured eyes. She kad knitted her eyebrows. I got a bit scared lookeing into her flaming eyes.

“ I don’t think so.” She said with a freezing voice.

I frowned and lifted my eyebrows. “ Look, ‘your majesty’ , I know you’re trying to be all ‘royal’ and everything but, there is nobody around. And I think a queen would be smart enough to remember someone they saw yesterday, am I right?” I was surprised about the words coming out of my mouth. As I thought I was about to get decapitayed, she cutened her voice.

“ I like bravery, but not everyone is as nice as me, your bravery can get you in trouble, Madelyn,” she said, “ I do remember you though, I acted like I didn’t not because I’m royal, but because you are going to leave in a week, am I right?”

I was not ready for that. I didn’t know what to say. I standed there awkwardly, and started at her. Then, I just left without doing anything. I could imagine her grinning behind me. Than I heard some trumpets.

“ Princess Isabella, and Prince Aiden!”

I looked up to the stairs where everyone did as well. Princess Isabella was beautiful as I thought. She wore the same things as she did a few hours ago, but her hair was a bit messier.
