Carlisle's Daughter

Thirteen

Anastasia stood in front of her mirror as she was looking at the small bump. She wasn't along unless... "no." She said as she walked downstairs as she heard her father. "I have a question and a slight problem." Carlisle turned to see the bump. "Well the question is a statement, but I think that I am having twins.'

"Come on." Carlisle said. "We'll find out."

Anastasia nodded as they walked into the room. Anastasia laid down as she felt the cold gel. Carlisle started moving the wand and smiled. "Seems like someone is protecting their twin." He said. "I never saw that when we had your first ultrasound."

Edward stood shock by what he heard. He was going to be a father of twins. Twins that he didn't think would happen. "More the merrier." He said as Ana looked at him smiling.

Anastasia smiled as she was hunting with Edward. Bella was coming over, but the two knew what was going to happen. "Baby, are you okay?"

"Just tired now." She said. "Ready to meet Bella."

Edward gave her a look making her smile. She knew he wasn't happy about a human knowing, despite her being with Caroline. Edward became a little more protective since he found out they were expecting twins, but Anastasia didn't mine it at all.

They arrived back and heard something break. "Rosalie's pissed."

"I heard that, Ana."

Anastasia and Edward walked through the front since Edward wouldn't let her jump. They got behind Caroline and Bella. "Bella, this is Anastasia and Edward. Anastasia is Carlisle's birth child. She was born before Esme came into her life."

Bella went to shake her hand when Edward pulled her back. "Edward, she will not hurt me."

"I thought you weren't that far along." Bella says.

"Twins." Anastasia said with a smiled. "If you excuse, but I need to have a talk with a certain someone."

Edward looked at his mate and knew he was in trouble. Ana grabbed his hand and walked up to their room. Once they were in their room, Ana looked at him. "I don't trust her, Ana."

"I know that, but can you at least try to be nice. This is the first time Caroline has ever been happy or with anyone." She said as she wrapped her arms around Edward's neck. "You should know that I'm already safe. You are there and so is daddy."

Edward buried his face between her neck and shoulder. "I don't want anything happening to you three. The thought alone hurts just as much as losing you. I love you too much."

"You can never love too much." Anastasia says. "But I understand you and I will take my time to know her. Just don't be an ass next time."

Edward chuckled making her smile. Looking into her eyes, Edward could only say one thing. "You are my light, baby, and I would never change what I have now." He said. "You and the twins are my world."

Anastasia smiled as she kissed him. Memories of the first time they kissed came to mind. Edward smiled as read her mind and saw the images in her head. He picked her up as memory after memory came back. When they first talked about their future, children, everything they have planned was right there with them. The life they always talked about and now, it was perfect.
