closure

alluring, charismatic, and elegant.
your voice brought the echo in my mind peace.
You were the calm during the storm, the fierce knight on a stunning white horse, the moon when it gives its spot to the sun in the sky.
The ivy overgrows the building, taking over the foundation.
Your backhanded love filled my pure heart and left behind black resin.
Once, you seemed to cure my disposition, but the longer your rotten, ill-filled love sank into my veins, the very nature of who I had always been had creeped its way back.
Screaming and wailing due to your absence, my heart grows stronger.
Where I had never wanted to fathom a world without you, there is closure and solemn security in my very soul.
I am down now, but you have given me the wings to move on.
