destiny was abruptly awoken from her sleep by the sound of knocking on the front door of her apartment.
"sapnap," destiny sighed and turned over in her bed to face her friend who was sleeping next to her. destiny had refused to let him sleep on the couch, offering her bed to him instead. sapnap refused to let destiny sleep on the couch, so they ended up sleeping in her bed together. "can you get it?" she shook his arm, waking him up.
"no." he said, aggressively turning over to face away from her. "you get it," he pulled the blanket over his face.
"i hate you." destiny rubbed her eyes sleepily as she threw a sweater on over her messy head of hair. she was disoriented, still half asleep as she headed to her front door. she couldn't help but wonder who was knocking on her door so early in the morning.
she swiftly opened up the door, not even bothering to ask who it was first. she was greeted by a single package that lay on the doormat in front of her apartment. after checking to see if anyone was in the hallway, she grabbed the package and carried it back into her apartment, placing it on the empty kitchen counter.
"sapnap!" she yelled after taking time to examine the mystery package. "who is clay?"

well, good morning to you too. did you get my package?
clay is a cute name. can i call you?
i mean, sure??

"why are you facetiming him? you know you won't see his face." sapnap asked, observing from a distance.
"because i want him to see the unboxing you dum dum." destiny propped her phone up on the counter, waiting for dream to pick up.
finally, after a couple rings, he answered. the phone was pointed at his ceiling, destiny left to stare at nothing but his ceiling fan.
"uh, hello?" dream asked.
"hello clay" destiny emphasized. "can i call you that?"
"yeah, that's fine." he laughed.
"i got your package!" destiny picked up the heavy package in order to show the camera. "oh, and sap is here."
"hi dream!" sapnap waved to the camera.
"hey sapnap." clay chuckled.
destiny carefully opened the package as clay and sapnap made small talk. clay and sapnap were best friends, and had been since they were kids. they got along really well, and it was honestly a miracle that clay and destiny hadn't met sooner.
"clay!!!!" destiny screamed as she opened the first item in the package. "is this even in your store?"
"no," he laughed. "i had them make it custom for you."
destiny stood in shock as she held up a baby pink sweatshirt with the signature dream smile embroidered on the front.
"i love it! oh my god, you didn't have to do that." she laughed as she took off the sweater she had been wearing before and put on her new one.
"sooooo, what do you think?" she asked clay and sapnap as she spun around, modeling.
"i love it." sapnap laughed, standing behind the counter as he snacked on leftovers.
"looks great. do you like it?" clay asked nervously.
"i love it!" destiny exclaimed, admiring her gift. she continued to go through her package with clay on the phone. sapnap left after a while to work on a youtube video that he had filmed the week prior, but destiny stayed and talked to dream for what felt like hours. he had gifted her practically every item in his store, and destiny couldn't help but to feel spoiled.
"thank you again for the package," destiny held the phone in her hand as she talked to a blank screen. "you really didn't have to do all this. it was very sweet of you."
"i'm glad that you liked it." clay said, glad that destiny couldn't see his face. he was smiling from ear to ear.
"i hope you know that i'm going to be wearing this 24/7 for the rest of my life." destiny laughed.
"sounds good to me. my stuff looks better on you than it does on me."
destiny blushed. "i have to go now, i promised sapnap that i would take him out to lunch, and now he's getting hangry."
"alright, i'll talk to you soon, destiny."
"sounds good!! bye clay!" she waved at her camera as she ended the call.
