Sidharth's work was not hampered as he was known by the name Arthur. Hence he went to his work. Police had seized Akhilesh and Bundela's property hence Naina and Reema were to stay at Rudhra's house until people's anger subsides.
Rudhra and Shehnaaz return home after their busy day at work. Rudhra went to his room where Naina sat depressed.
Rudhra: Naina, I hope by now you would be made aware of my work by Sidharth.
Naina: You ain't the same person I loved Rudhra, where does this take us in our relationship now? Am I also just a part of your acting?
Rudhra: Not at all Naina. I intend to be untouched by anything which happened with your father. If you think I am wrong then you have all the right to decide on what you want to do about this relationship.
Naina: I know you weren't wrong but I need sometime to think.
Rudhra: Sure! Take your time to think about future but not to cry over the past.

Shehnaaz's task was more challenging than Rudhra. Reema had always blindly followed Akhilesh. For her there was no life outside Akhilesh, she didn't take stand for her own children against his instruction or orders. Now all of a sudden, he wasn't there.Though she knew what was right and what was wrong she found it extremely difficult to accept the truth. Truth that her husband was wrong. This was obvious as she was habituated to follow his orders since 35 years and habits die hard.
Shehnaaz went near her but Reema turned around her face.
Shehnaaz: Amma, I know I have cheated and married your son. I had entered into the house with an intention to get the justice for all the crime. I felt sharp piercing pain every minute I stayed in that house and everytime I saw Babuji's face, as it reminded me of him murdering my parents, making us orphan and giving us a painful life. The only two people I had been genuinely loved was you and Sidharth. I know it's difficult to accept things for you right now but all I request you is to make your effort to understand us.
Reema chose to keep quiet. Shehnaaz was hurt. She knew that Reema would take time to understand things but didn't know how much time though.

Sidharth returned home, there was an injury and blood on his forehead. Shehnaaz and Reema panicked as they rushed to him.Reema: What happened Sidharth?
Sidharth: Nothing, I tripped off and fell.
Shehnaaz: (observed him) Why are you lying Sidharth? I know that this isn't from falling. Tell me how did this happen?
Sidharth: It's felicitation for being Akhilesh Mathur's son.
Reema: What are you talking about, Sidharth? (She scolded)
Shehnaaz got the first aid but Reema pulled it from her hand and started cleaning his wound.
Sidharth: Yes Amma. Someone recognised me while I halted my car in traffic for few seconds, he picked up a stone and aimed at me. I drove off quickly because I realised if I stopped, there would have been a mob of people who wouldn't hesitate to lynch me as well.
Reema: All thanks to your wife. (Giving cold stare at Shehnaaz)
Shehnaaz was shocked yet she didn't back answer.
Sidharth: What? What's her fault in this Amma? If I tell you in detail what all Babuji has done in his life, you will hate him yourself. I have witnessed many things from my own eyes.
Reema: I don't want to hear anything. I can't stay in this house Sidharth. I want to go away from here.
Shehnaaz: But, it isn't safe for you to go out. You have to wait for few days until people cool down.
