Chapter 30

Sidharth: Hello Shehnaaz, I just called you to remind you to ask for a leave to go on our honeymoon.

Shehnaaz: Sidharth, hold on to your horses. I am a bit busy right now and I don't think we can go on with our plan as well for the time being.

Sidharth: Hmmm.. I feel like that your work is your husband and i am just having a side affair with you.

Shehnaaz: Sweetheart, will talk about this is the evening. Please!

Sidharth: (frowns) Fine! Bye!!

Shehnaaz: Sid...(Disconnected)
Oh God! He looks annoyed! I am so held up! I will make up for this when I go home in the evening. Let me complete this work for now.

Rudhra and Naina left for their honeymoon in the evening. They said bye to Sidharth and Reema. Shehnaaz was working late so they spoke to her on phone.

Sidharth was even more annoyed with Shehnaaz that they were the one to plan before Rudhra and Naina to go on their honeymoon but couldn't go because of Shehnaaz's work.

Sidharth: Amma, I am going to sleep, if Shehnaaz returns then please open the door for her.

Reema: Okay Sidharth.

He goes to his room and lies on the bed and after a struggle of half an hour he falls asleep.

He turns around and puts his hands out of habit to search for her in the middle of his sleep but when he doesn't find her, he wakes up and looks at side. He gets up and checks his mobile for the time. It was 4 a.m.

He finds a light from the hall with some soft noise. He goes out of his room and he finds Reema sitting position on the sofa and she was snoring softly. The TV was on at a low volume. He remembers that he had informed her to open the door for Shehnaaz.

Oh hell!! That means Shehnaaz didn't return yet. Poor amma slept off on the couch whole night. How can Shehnaaz be so careless? She is so much dedicated to work that she forgot that there is a family who is waiting for her at home. So irresponsible and inconsiderate!

He turns off the TV and shook her softly.

Sidharth: Amma.. amma.. (she wakes up) Come let me drop you to your room.

Reema: Shehnaaz? Did she come? I didn't realise when I dozed off.

Sidharth: She is working until late, don't worry about her. You please sleep in your room.

Reema: Oh poor Shehnaaz! I hope she ate her dinner atleast.

He was even more annoyed with Shehnaaz hearing how worried his mother was for her. He helps Reema lie down and puts a blanket and goes out to sit on the couch waiting for her.

At around 6:00am, Shehnaaz returns home and he opens the door. She smiles saying 'Good morning' and hugs him but neither does he replies with smile nor does he reciprocates the hug. She looks at his frowning face as he closed the door and went back to his room. She follows him.

As soon as they enter the room, she hugs him from behind but he pulls out from her grip and goes and lies down on his bed. She makes a pout and goes and changes her clothes.

She comes back and lies on the bed besides him and hugs him again from the back.

Sidharth: Can you please mind your hands to yourself? I need to sleep.

Shehnaaz: Why is my little baby still angry with me? (Speaks in a baby tone)

Sidharth: I am not! (Angrily)

Shehnaaz: Oohh!! (She turns him around to make him lie on his back and lies on his chest) Come on sweetheart, I missed you so much.

Sidharth: Yeah! I know that's why Officer Shehnaaz couldn't even inform that she will not come home entire night.
