TRUST ISSUES

"Why should I trust you?" Whisper asked as they continued to walk to the bunker.

"Well, I honestly don't think I have any proof to back up that I'm really a trustworthy ally. All I can do is ask one of the resistance members if you should trust me." Gadget replied.

"Infinite?" Whisper continued.

"Unless you have the power to tell I'm lying, I have no clue how to prove myself to you." Zero sighed, "By the way, please call me by my real name, Zero, I really don't want to be reminded of everything I've done to everyone in the war."

Whisper didn't say anything and they continued the walk in silence. When they got to the bunker, Gadget opened the door and they all jumped into the shelter the wolf and jackal called home. Gadget let her sleep on his bed while he slept on the couch, Whisper tried to deny but he insisted. Gadget was making dinner for them with the little supplies they had since the whole Zombie Apocalypse thing happening.

"So, what happened?" Gadget broke the ice.

"Eggman, Starline, Zombots." Whisper replied in her normal, quiet voice.

"Who the heck is Starline? What are Zombots?" Gadget asked.

"Eggman fan, zombies but robots." Whisper looked down, remembering how Tangle became one of the Zombots. That whole experience made her want to run into a village, infested with Zombots and would have been infected immediately if it weren't for Amy forcing her onto the ship, she would have gotten infected as well; at the same time, she would do it if it meant saving Tangle.

She swore to herself to protect Tangle, and since then, she's felt horrible that she went of on her own, but Tangle found her before she left.

Tangle was with Belle and Jewel, helping the new commander with everything she had to do, which bored Tangle, obviously.

"Hey Tangle, isn't Whisper also supposed to come?" Belle asked.

"Yeah, she is, but she was supposed to be here about yesterday." Tangle responded.

"Do you think she's alright?" Jewel joined.

"I mean, of course! Whisper is strong, and I doubt her wisps would let anything happen to her!" Tangle gleamed with sparkles in her eyes.

Tangle really admirers Whisper for how strong she is after all the trama she's faced. In a way, when she was watching the whole thing play out in Whisper's mask, she felt as if she was experiencing it herself, the way the young wolf expressed when opening up to her, she cared for them a lot. Lilac eyes knew if she were in Whisper's shoe's, she would probably have done the same thing and killed Mimic at the first sight and wouldn't open up.

"I'm gonna see if she's ok anyways, do any of you guys want to come?" Tangle asked.

"I need to stay here and watch over the resistance base, it's the only one we got, after everything was destroyed during the Zombot apocalypse, sorry if I wasn't able to help at all." Jewel sighed.
