Geneviève was blessed to have a man like Black Reynolds in her life. He was everything she visioned. Geneviève was finally happy—she didn't feel that in quite a while. The media continued to any evidence they could. It wasn't a secret that they were dating. The only thing that upset Geneviève was the false gossip being said about her. She hated it. She remembered the words Black said to her when she called crying to him.
She was now getting ready to meet Black's parents. Months passed and they were ready to take it to the next level. She decided to go for a dress with some gold sandals. Adding few accessories, she tied her hair into a ponytail. Thankfully, Geneviève still had her job, but she didn't need it. Black was buying her the most expensive things you could think off. But Geneviève loved making her own money. Although the gifts were nice. She decided to wear the watch Black brought her on their two-month anniversary. All she gave him was a card because she didn't have any money around that time, due to bills. He was grateful and didn't care.
"You look beautiful, baby." Black said, watching her in the mirror. His smile became contagious. Geneviève gave him a smile back. He kissed her neck and wrapped his arms around her waist. -"Are you ready to go?"
"What if your parents dislike me?" She asked, turning around. Black's arms were still around her waist. She fixed his chain, then looked dearly into his eyes.
"They will love you. Stop being nervous and lets go." Black said. Geneviève never made it close to this stage. Meeting her man's parents.
So many thoughts ran through Geneviève's head as Black parked at his parents' house. Geneviève looked out the house. It was beautiful. She was even more nervous when she saw his parents waiting for them. They had the biggest smiles on their faces. Black embraced his parents into a hug.
"Black, who is this beautiful young lady?" His mother asked, looking at Geneviève.
"This is Geneviève Daniels—my lady." Black responded.
Geneviève was too shy. She just nodded her head, looking at her surroundings. His parents invited them in and they walked into the living room.
"Geneviève, do you want anything to eat or drink." Black's father asked.
"No thank you." Geneviève politely said.
"Geneviève, tell us about yourself. How did you meet our son?" Before Geneviève could say anything, Black commented.
"We met at a club." Black lied. Geneviève gave him the side eye and became confused. She brushed it off and went on with the lie.
