Geneviève looked in the mirror and seen the purple bruise on her left cheek. Geneviève's face was hurting, she still couldn't believe Black put his hands on her. He's been calling her for hours, but she didn't respond. She was done with him. The purple bruise was now covered with the makeup that matched her skin tone. Geneviève didn't want any attention on her while she's at work, especially from Monica. Geneviève did one last good look before walking out of her bathroom.Geneviève grabbed all of her belongings before exiting out of her bedroom and walking into her kitchen to grab something to eat. She grabbed a green apple before walking over to her door. Unlocking it slowly, she met the eyes of Black Reynolds. His eyes were red, like he's been crying. Geneviève took a step back growing scared. She was convinced that he was a dangerous man.
"What are you doing here?" Geneviève asked in a whisper tone. Black took a step forward, walking in her apartment and closing the door. -"I have to go to work, Black."
"You've been ignoring my calls. Why? Do you still love me?" Black asked.
"Black, you put your hands on me and you think I'm going to be okay with it."
"I apologized to you numerous of times. You even cried with me." Black made an excuse.
"It's not that simple. I had to covered the bruise you gave me. You're not safe, you're not my protection anymore."
"Baby, please, I am your protection, please don't run out on me." Black cried. He came over to Geneviève and hugged her tightly.
"Black, please get off of me. I don't want to be late for work." Geneviève wished, trying to push Black's heavy body off of her.
"I'm in love with you, Geneviève Daniels. I want you to have my last name and have my babies. Please don't leave me." Black cried even more.
Geneviève didn't know what to do. She didn't want to be late for work, but she also didn't want Black to do any more damaged to her. Geneviève came with a decision. She walked over to the telephone and dialed her work phone number.
"Hey, it's Geneviève Daniels and I'm not able to make work today. I'm having car trouble." She looked over at Black as he nodded his head as approval. Geneviève hung up the phone and walked over to Black. -"You promise it was a one time thing and it won't happen again." Geneviève looked into Black's eyes.
"I promise with all of my heart." Black kissed Geneviève passionately. -"I meant that. I love you, baby."
"I love you too." Geneviève responded, letting sex get the best of their emotions.
