Another school year passed and twins Dipper and Mabel Pines(and her pig Waddles) are returning to Gravity Falls for another summer holiday. It's sunny day and it looks like that nothing has changed since they left. When they arrived to the Mystery Shack, they were welcomed by Soos and Wendy.
Soos: Dudes!
Soos shouted and ran to the twins to hug them. It wasn't very comfotable for the twins since the hug was a bit too hard.
Wendy: Hey guys!
Dipper: Wendy!
Dipper got out, ran to Wendy and hugged her.
Dipper: How were you doing?
Wendy: Nothing special, just some high school stuff. I will finaly have some fun again when you are here. Nice hat by the way.
Dipper touched the hat Wendy gave him last year and smiled. Everyone then went in the shack since it was starting to rain.
Later that day in the night when both Pines were sleeping, Wendy already left and thunderstorm was raging, Soos was the only one awake. He was trying to get snack he bougth in the wending machine that got stuck.
Soos: C'mon dude, I know I will get you.
Then someone knocked on the door of the store. Surpriced Soos walked to the door and opened them. There was a guy, totaly wet from the rain.
Guy: S-Sorry, I-I know it's really late and this is not a hotel but I really need to hide somewhere for the night. I can give you five dollars.
Soos: Alright, come in. My name is Soos.
Soos reached his arm to the man.
Guy: T-Thanks, m-my name is Chris.
Soos showed him the room, it was a small room with enough space for just a single bed and a small table.
Chris: T-Thanks.
Soos: No problem dude. See you later.

Chris tried to sleep but it took him some time. He wasn't really sure how it all happened. Only thing he knew was that he was there beacause of Bill which was so kind to give him 6$(from which he alrady spent 5) and bag with some clothes and a phone.
He managed to fall asleep after some time, but in his dream was Bill. He couldn't appear but he could talk with him.
Bill: So, are you there, in the world of your favorite show? Many people would give everything they could for it.
Chris: Not if they would have to be there to help you enslave the dimension.
Bill: Where did you find a place to sleep?
Chris: In the Mystery Shack.
Bill: Really? I thought you will be sleeping under the bridge for the first day.
Chris: What should I do now? Should I start searching for something or what?
Bill: Even though you should start searching for a way to Nightmare Realm, it will take some time. You can try seducing Wendy.*giggle*
Chris: Yeah, very funny, I always wanted to get smacked by my favorite animated girl character. I need to find some work and place to sleep. I cant live with only 1$ left.
Bill: Just lie to them. Tell them that you lost everything and that you have nowhere to go or something like that. Don't forget that Soos is the owner of the Mystery Shack, you can convince him to employ you. Just do not make them suspicious, this is a great opportunity to get known with them. Also remember, you have time only until this summer ends.
With that Bill left.
Next day in the morning, Dipper and Mabel found out that there is someone in the room.
Dipper: Who is that?
Mabel: Maybe it's Soos's friend he never told us about.
Dipper: Isn't he a bit too young for that? Maybe he's a tourist that got caught by the rain in the woods.
Soos: What's up dudes. What are you watching.
Twins got surpriced by him. They sceamed loud enough to wake up Chris.
Chris: Who is that?
They all opened the door.
Mabel: Sorry, we didn't mean to wake you up. Do you want to have breakfest with us?
Dipper, whispering to Mable: We don't know who he is.
Mabel: Don't you see that he had a rough night. He deserves something to eat. Come in few minutes to the kitchen!

Chris put on some clothes he got and walked downstairs.
Mabel: Here, take some pancakes.
Chris sat down wit the others and started eating. He was a bit nervous since he had to convince Soos to get work while also act that he never heard of Mystery Shack. Dipper was observing him like he suspected something.
Dipper suspiciously: Sooo, Chris. How did you get there?
Chris stoped eating and gulped while trying to quickly come up with something.
Chris: Well, I-I lost my family.
Dipper: And how did this get you there, in this small town in the woods?
Mabel looked at Dipper that he is goign a bit too far.
Chris: B-Because a-after I lost my family I didn't have anytwhere to go. So I took the little amount of money that had left after them and walked away, somewhere distant, as far as possible, to start anew. But now I am basicaly homeless, without money or friends and jobless.
Mabel: Awww, this is so sad! Maybe you could live here with us and you would pay by working in the shop!
Chris: R-Realy? You think I could?
Soos: Yeah dude, more people, more fun.
Chris hugged Soos.
Chris: Thank you! Thank you so much! I will not disappoint you.
Chris didn't think that it would go so easely. It was going much smoother than he thought.
