Prologue
The school year just ended, the children ran out of their classes as soon as the bell rang. I caught up to Joe, he was smirking, that means his exam went well.
"Let's go" he said
"Oh where?" I asked
"Ofcourse at the old playground and we'll help ourselves with some ice cream from old Agnes" said Joe with his deep voice
Joe is one year younger to me, he is currently in the 9th grade and I haven't said it to him yet but I have a crush on him since ages, I mean he is so perfect, his beautiful ocean blue eyes and his gorgeous face,oh and his countenance, everything is so perfect about him.
We went and helped ourselves with our favourite Belgium chocolate flavour ice cream from old Agnes and then went straight to the playground. It was summer time, the sun above our heads was glaring brilliantly making Joe's blonde hair shine.
"I want to tell you something Joe" , I said looking all nervous
"What?" he said in his most british accent
"Well my family is moving to America, my dad's job has been transferred there", I said while not maintaining eye contact with him
"Really? What? Oh my god? When?", he asked raising his eyebrows all of a sudden, he held my hand and then dropped it and then held it again and calmly asked,"when did this happen and why don't I know about it?"
I explained everything to him, I was ready for this astonishing sad reaction from Joe as we've been friends for like ten years.
"I'm gonna miss you so much, also how many days are you gonna be here before moving?" , he asked sadly.
"We wont have a lot of time together Joe" , I said, "we'll move after 2 days" i added.
Joe definitely looked sad and his face lost its colour yet he didn't lose his cool and said "well maybe I gotta treat you like a queen for two days" while smiling weekly and making me chuckle.
And then we both talked and kept talking until dawn, after watching the sunset we headed towards our home.
After two days
Joe definitely treated me like a queen in this period of two days and now I'm on the airport waiting in the restroom for the flight.
After some days
America is great! We have a bigger house here and I definitely miss London and also Joe, my best friend, I missed everything about him, specially the way he used to call me and how he used to completely ignore the fact that I have the letter 'r' in my spelling, well I love how he used to call me 'Taylah' though.
After two years
Things were great when we moved in here, well they are still good but I miss my old best friend, Joe, we used to talk daily when I just moved in here but not anymore, after a few months of moving here, we were barely in contact as we moved on with our lives but now we are not in touch anymore, I always think about contacting him again but I'm afraid he won't like it so I just dont :(

Well this was just the prologue, this is how they knew each other but were not in contact with each other anymore. The story takes place after 15 years since Taylor has moved in America, so yeah, I'm pretty excited for the story!
