"Oops", I squealed, it was 3 in the morning and I was sitting on my chair in front of my table which was covered with pages and scrolls and files and letters and some diagrams of a house.
My assistant looked completely drained, it was the third day in a row that we went to bed at 5 in morning as we had a very difficult murder case to deal with even though my client wasn't guilty of the murder.

Sophia, my assistant, looked like she was gonna pass out at any time now.
"Sophia", I called, "We can rest for 4 hours I guess and then we'll start working again" I said, "also dont go at your house, you can rest on the couch in my office I think", I added and she nodded.
My client had to appear in court in a day, both of us were exhausted yet contented as we had enough proofs in our hands to prove that my client isn't guilty for the murder.
After a day
"I'm beyond happy, Miss Swift", said Mr. Evans smiling way too bright, "I thought I'd definitely be charged for the murder that I never did, well all thanks to you!", he added.
I was in a party with my assistant that Mr. Evans threw as he was free now. I didn't know what to do in that party, I knew no one except Sophia so well I was sitting in a corner and trying the desserts haha!
Mr. Evans hurriedly came towards me and he also brought someone with him, "Ayy Miss Swift, if you dont mind, you just got a new client in here" he scoffed. I raised my eyebrows and then he pointed towards the other man.
There was something very vaguely familiar about that man. He looked very fine, he had ocean blue eyes and blonde hair and a very boyish look on his gorgeous face.

After kind of studying his face I said "hello you can call me Taylor", he smiled after hearing my name. I think he forgot to introduce himself and went on explaining about his problem and how he wants to file a divorce against his wife.
I was disappointed on the thought that he is married but to be honest I dont know why, it was maybe he looked so gorgeous or maybe that he kind of looked like my teenage crush and best friend, Joe.
I told him to come to my office tomorrow to discuss about his matter and stuff and gave him my card.
He and Mr. Evans left me and my assistant, after some time I got bored in the party and told my assistant that I'm leaving.
I was walking towards the exit while passing from the restroom when

Ah and so the story begins! I'm so excited for this! Also I feel like this chapter was kind of boring but trust me as you read more you'll get interested in it!
