I yawned, munching on the food silently. I yawned again, keeping my sleep at bay at looking at Mr. Bradford grumpily. I was under his arrest, arrest till completing dinner.

"I've had enough. You can't force me to eat this shit! Green vegetables with no oil, yuk!" I screamed, whimpering in annoyance.

His one hard glare, stern face was enough for me to sit back and continue the appointed deed.

"Mr. Bradford!" I called, after a minute of silence and me drawing patterns on the plate.

"Shouldn't talk while eating," He scolded, focused on his green leaves.

For all I cared, he could go and eat grass!

I scoffed in my mind, retorting back an imaginary sassy reply.

"Husband, please? Let me go to sleep, a pretty please?" I whispered, slightly dozing off while sitting.

He looked up with an unknown emotion in his eyes and sighed, keeping his empty plate away. He looked at me for a good full minute before nodding, making me abruptly squeal in delight.

I jumped and stood up only to fall back due to my sleepy head. He shook his head and came at my side. I looked at him and smiled, getting up. I inhaled sharply, his rich cologne filling my senses. He instantly picked me up in his arms, making me shriek in panic.

"Mr. Bradford," I whispered softly, shocked as his hands remained firm around my shoulders and knees.

"Shh.." He sushed me down, without looking at me and strode towards the huge bed.

He laid me down on the soft, cold bed carefully before shutting the lamp beside me.

"Sleep." He muttered, removing the strands of hair from my cheek that had fallen.

I yawned again and stretched my neck sideways before waving at him and sleeping on the inviting bed.

"Such a kid!" I heard him say but let it pass.

I was trying to stop arguing with him, remember?

I groaned as I felt something bright hitting my face again and again. After getting irritated for thousandth time, I grumbled and opened my eyes, only to shut them back abruptly.

Why is it so sunny here?

This was not a sun, but a fireball throwing laser beams to avenge something.

I stiffened as I felt something heavy. Not again! I looked at my abdomen to see Theodore clutching my stomach tightly with his right hand. I gulped and slowly removed his hand.
