"Monsters"
(Taehyun's POV)
I look around the room, feeling queasy.
"Does anyone know anything about monsters?" Mr. Kim says
I raise my hand
"Yes, mr.kang?"
"Umm, well monsters have powers. Some can control it others c-can't. But most monsters have been slayed. I-I was reading the other day- nvm" I say and sit down
"Oh no! Please continue" mr.Kim said
"Umm, in the book it said people can transform into monsters. But part of the next page got ripped out. B-But I do know it said 'one who slayed them shall not become them. If you are a family of one who slayed you still can become one. Not always by choice but by-' umm."
I paused and mr.Kim just nodded
"'Not always by choice but by.... hatred toward ur loved one, who survived ' and that's all that was left in the book" I said and sat down
"Thank you, Mr.Kang. Now I want the class to stand up and listen." He said and we stood up behind our chairs
"If you dislike monsters go to the right, if you don't mind them go to the left." He said
It was half and half
Me, Soobin, Felix, and hyunjin and part of the class was on the left side.
I can tell Soobin's was confused about his feelings when he saw Yeonjun go to the right side.
I can tell huening Kai was being indecisive when he went to the right side.
Jin let out a sigh.
"Alright! I want all of u guys to tell me why you are ok or not ok with monsters. Only speak when I point at you, got it?" All of us nodded
"This is gonna be good"I thought
He pointed at a few people and then beomgyu was up
"My family were all slayers. My brother had fought so many cruel monsters out there. He probably has many scars" he said
Mr.Kim nodded and pointed at Yeonjun
"I have the same reasoning as Beomgyu, sir. But I don't think all of them are mean. I dislike them because of lies they tell. I don't need a friend that is going to lie to me"
I look at soobin and can tell he is feeling pain
I raise my hand
"Yes, mr.kang?"
"I know this is what Yeonjun thinks,but is it ok to say something about his statement?" I ask and both Yeonjun and mr.Kim nodded
"I have one problem with his statement. He said he dislikes them because of the lies they tell. Fair point, BUT he is forgetting that everyone lies. Im guessing at some point you have lied to your family. Monsters are just lying to protect themselves from people who see them as monsters. Some people joke of dying but once you are face to face with death, it's scary." I say
"Also with beomgyu's statement, he had said his family fought many cruel monsters. But he doesn't say anything about the innocent ones or the kind ones. I was reading-"
"You are always reading, BOOKWORM! How about u go get ur self a girl. Tons like ur looks anyway!" Someone screamed
"Mr.chad! Make one more comment like that and u will get detention. Also I don't think your mother will like having u bullying someone, that has triple the amount of IQ you have" mr.Kim said and chad looked down
Mr Kim just nodded at me
"Like I was saying, monsters aren't all bad-"
"But they aren't all good"
"I said they aren't ALL bad! And many people have been saved by monsters. People have been told about the ferocious monsters they battled. But have you ever heard a story about someone killing an innocent monster? Probably not! And yeah!"
Everyone clapped. Not all happy but some were, and that was enough.
"Alright class! I want you to study about the bright side of monsters! You have one week to find a book and write a 2000paragraph essay, or a group presentation with an essay of 5 paragraphs! Either that or detention! And u guys are dismissed!"
I exited and went to the lady at the front desk to get my dorm.
"Name?"
"Kang Taehyun"
"Alright here you go! Also do u know a Soobin?"she asked as she handed me a key
"Yea! Also is it ok if I take his key to give it to him?"
"Of course! I was about to ask anyway! Here you go, have a nice day"
"Thanks you too!" I said and went to Soobin's locker.
"Soobinnie hyung! I got the keys!" I said as he shut his locker. And we went to the new dorm.
As soon as we got to the new dorm we saw someone we didn't expect
