Izuku Midoriya the protector of the 99 caverns up for adoption

Prologue

a/n: some background information izuku recently turned 4 and wants to be a slug slinger/hero. He is also the nephew of will Shane but it's kept a secret, also they live in slugterra. Bakugou is Izuku's best friend, he's not self-centered but he sometimes is a bit too cocky and he calls him Deku in a good way. You're only allowed to own a slug at 4 and all might is the no 1 hero with Eli Shane being the no 2 hero btw all might will still have a muscle form.

IZUKU POV

"Mom dad, can I go look for slugs with kacchan please?" I cheerfully asked, running with a plush toy of a slug. "Please wait here and let me call your aunt Mitski and katsuki over ok," my mom said, a little shocked at how excited I was to finally own a slug. I heard the doorbell ring and I ran down and quickly ran down to find my best friend "hey Deku you ready!" kacchan yelled excitedly. "Yes I'm ready" we both ran to the nearby forest to look for some slugs.

"Hey, Deku I found one" kacchan yelled at me to grab my attention. I ran over a saw that he found a hop rock slug. "Wow kacchan that's a hop rock slug, so cool," I said amazed by the fact he found one. Kacchan and I kept looking and he found a lot more but I couldn't find any. "Sorry we could not find any for you Deku, '' Kacchan said, feeling sorry for me.

As we started to leave I found a slug running toward me. It was so scared "hey come back here you worthless slug" screamed a man wearing a black outfit. The man chased the slug as it eventually ran to me and the slug hopped on my hand worried and scared. "Hey give that slug you brat" he yelled at us furious the slug had gotten away. "NO" I yelled back at him seeing how he mistreated his slugs. He pulled his blaster and showed us his slug I have never seen before. The slug looked unhinged and deranged while the slugs we found were happy. Then he loaded the slug and without hesitation, he then shot me. the second I got hit all I could think was the slug I saw and all the fear running through me. Then I passed out and everything was blurry and fuzzy. I could hear kacchan yelling at me to hang in there.

KATSUKI POV

"Deku no" I screamed at the top of my lungs as deku collapsed. "You bastard, you'll pay for that" I yelled at the man who shot my best friend. "So what, you may have slugs but you don't have a blaster," he laughed. 'He is right I don't have one so how can I fire a slug' i thought

Just then I heard a lot of slugs firing at the guy who shot deku. "Leave those kids alone" a voice boomed 'that voice' i thought I recognized the voice immediately. "All might!" I yelled "Fear not for I am here" his voice boomed "young man please take your friend and run for help" I immediately picked up deku and ran back to Deku's house panicking.

ALL MIGHT POV

"Shane I found him" I sad in the coms "ok I'm heading over right now," he said over the coms "so Doctor Blak you care to explain why you would stoop so low as to harm defenseless children," I said with a slightly pissed of tone "why do you care what I do all might," he said somewhat annoyed "besides you know you can't take on my ghouls," he said sounding overconfident. "Hey, All Might on your left" a voice called through the coms "hey Blak you miss me!" a voice echoed. As a frost crawler hit doctor Blak knocking him back. "So the great Eli Shane graces me with his presence" dr black said unbelievably pissed off. "Give up Blak it's over!" I yelled. "You got lucky All Might" as he rode off in a mecha beast. Suddenly I started to cough up blood and deflate. "ALL MIGHT, are you ok?" young Eli asked. "I'm fine but I can't keep doing hero work" I stated. "Don't you worry I will teach the students instead just take it easy" he said clearly worried. "No, I can manage to be a teacher at, ua" I said "I need to find a successor to learn slug fu beside you young Eli," I said still coughing. "we should head back to the agency," I said.

(Time skip to the hospital)

IZUKU POV

I slowly woke up with a painful headache surrounded by a doctor and medical equipment and a heart rate monitor. I slowly got up and the doctor said to calm down and take it easy. He asked "what do you want to want to be when you grow up," he asked trying to start a conversation. "A hero just like all might," I said excitedly. He smiled "that's nice, you can leave tomorrow you just need to rest" he stated I nodded. Just then my family and kacchan family entered the room. Mom was crying. My dad was still trying to cope with the fact his son got attacked by the no 1 villain. "S-son," he said, stuttering "Yes dad?" I said somewhat worried "please promise me you won't take up slug slinging until you're 15 please," he said in tears knowing it would break me. "I don't think he can," Kacchan said when aunt Mitsuki gave him a death glare "I mean look at this" as he pulled the hop rock we found and brought it closer then I started to hyperventilate as soon as I did he immediately pulled the slug away. "Sorry deku" kacchan said because he felt really bad for me "but don't worry I will help you get over your fear deku!" he said to reassure me "hey it's the slug that ran to you for help" he pointed out "it looks like an infurnus slug" I mumbled it slowly walked up to me "how come you're not shaking" aunt Mitsuki asked, "I don't know?" I responded sounding confused as well. "C-could I still become a hero?" I asked on the verge of tears.
