IZUKU POV

I ran downstairs with my blaster, some empty tubes, and blitz on my shoulder. "Good morning mom, morning dad," I said, "good morning izuku" my mom said happy to see me awake and excited "you headed out?" my dad asked, "yes I'm going to kacchan's house" excited to leave "now hold up young man," my mom said in a firm voice which made me freeze in fear "you still need to eat your breakfast," she said in a more calm tone.

I settled on eating bacon, eggs, and toast "ok now I'm heading out" I said as I slowly stood up "are you forgetting something izuku" my dad said with a smirk "oh right my mecha beast" I said as I mentally facepalmed "well see you later" I yelled hopping on my mecha beast headed towards kacchan's house. On the way, I had trouble getting the hang of riding a mecha beast i had kept falling of but i eventually got the hang of it "hey kacchan let's go" I yelled "coming nerd" he said yelling "let me grab my mecha beast" he said as he ran out the door "alright deku let's go" he said hopping on his mecha "alright let's get us some new slugs" he said riding his mecha side by side with mine "y-yea let's go" I said still nervous about meeting and interacting with new slugs I'm only comfortable around blitz, sarge and pop "don't worry deku" he said trying to reassure me "alright then let's go we go to ua in 2 months" I said sounding confident.

"Alright we're here," he said "L-lets go," said still nervous "you sure about this kacchan?" I said "the question is are you ready deku?" he said, a little concerned blitz walked up to me trying to make me feel better "yea i got this" i said hyping myself "that's it deku, lets go" kacchan yelled running off with me following behind "hey there's one over there" he said whispering as to not alert the slug "it's a vinedrill" i said as i sat in amazement "O-ok i got this" i stuttered as i slowly walk up to it "H-hey little guy" i said the slug slowly waddled up to me "want to join me and blitz" as i hold up to show im not a threat he happily hopped on my hand i was scared and shaking at first but i took deep breaths and stopped shaking "good job young man" man call out walking up to me "thanks" i said "hey kacchan come on over here" i yelled at him watching from a bush signaling him to come over "hey good job deku, who is this guy" kacchan said pointing at the skeletal looking man "my apologies im toshinori yagi" he said bowing "i help help people train them and their slugs" he stated "i could train you if you want" he politely asked "yes please" we both said "great first show me what both you and your slugs" can do "but first what are your names?" he kindly asked "im izuku midoriya" i said to respond "the names katsuki bakugou" kacchan replied "great first but show me what kinda slugs you have" kacchan shower mr yagi sarge and pop "is that all young bakugou" he said sounding a little disappointed "and you young man" he said as he panned toward me i show him blitz and the vine drill i just found "how come you don't have many slugs?" he asked a little confused "well when we were young we were attacked by Dr Blak and our parents would not allow me to have more slugs until i was older" kacchan truthfully respond to mr yagi question "so how are "same story but i wasn't aloud to take up slug slinging until i turned 14" i said shaking "sorry for asking but quick question" mr yagi said "ok ask away" i replied "why were you shaking when trying to pick up the slug young midoriya" mr yagi sounding worried and also confused "well ever since i got shot point blank by a crazy looking slug i've afraid to touch another slug" i said still scared of that encounter "wait did the slug have sharp teeth and very violent" he asked with peaked interest "yea that exact description" i said concerned on how he knew how it looked "thought he had not perfected the ghouls" he said in a panicky tone "can you please explain what you are talking about" kacchan asked in a passive aggressive tone of voice "can you boys keep a secret" he said in a stern tone. We both nodded "good if i am going to train you boys you should know" he said "i am ALL MIGHT!" he said smiling and laughing we both stood there in shock "your all might!" we both yelled "but why are you telling us this "because i need-" he immediately deflated to his skinny form coughing blood "i need new students to teach" he said out of breath coughing "why us" kacchan said "because i cant keep doing hero work because of an injury i got from a ghoul" he said lifting up his shirt showing a massive wound "and besides i saw what you did to save those girls that day and believe you can become great heroes" he said smiling "so do you accept i can also help you young middoria with your fear" he said wanting to help the next generation of heroes "i accept" said kacchan "what about you deku" he asked "i will do it to become a hero and get over my fear" i said nervous to be training with the number 1 hero "well for now just practice on accuracy and getting closer to your slugs and if you can catch more" he instructed us "for now just catch more slugs if you can alright" me and kacchan both nodded "alright here is my number" he said "meet me at dagaboa beach tomorrow" he told us "alright" we both said exited "for now just look for slugs to add to your arsenal anny questions" how to you control your slugs mid flight?" i asked pulling out my hero notebook "that is slug fu a technique that allows the user to control a slugs flight path and have it use special moves and attacks but you need a strong connection with your slug" he responded almost immediately "what about fusion moves" kacchan asked woner how to pull one off "that needs perfect timing and power when you fire the slugs" all might replied "what about mega morph" i ask "you need more fire power in your blaster and a very experienced slug" he said surprised of our knowledge "remember just go look for slugs right now" he said trying to keep us on track "right sorry for the questions" i replied "meet back here in a hour got it" me and kacchan shook our heads

We both ran off in opposite directions trying to find slugs "where should I look" I said, forgetting my fear of slugs for a moment. Blitz was trying to grab my attention "what is it I asked?" He made me look at the vinedrill slug. I found "oh hey I haven't given you a name yet" I replied feeling bad "I'll name you wild vine" he really liked that name as he started to jump around and chirp. I giggled "wild vine it is," I said excited "welcome to the team, meet blitz" blitz proceeded to shake hands with wild vine as a joke he set his hand on fire wild vine panicked and fell on his back, then the two slugs started laughing "let's look for more slugs," I said the two had stopped laughing and hopped on my shoulder as I hopped on my mecha and rode off looking for more slugs.
