{Did anyone want me to write about the wedding? I mean- it's not too late, especially since I feel like weddings in ship fanfics are so cliche...}

"Ken!" A woman was crawling on the floor before him. She was among a pool of other people, who were pulled apart at their seams and edges. Their eyes dead and cold, faces frozen in place that had previously been screaming for their lives. "Ken!!" The yell squeezed his heart even tighter this time. "Ken!! Ken!! KEN!!" Her yelling got louder and more panicked each time she called his name. A hand pushed through the fog and wrapped around her ankle. Her breathing got heavier in an instant. They lifted her by the ankle, and she couldn't push the words out of her mouth. She disappeared behind the fog, only to come flying back down. "KENNN!!" The blood splashed onto his face as they slammed her onto the hard concrete floor. They lifted her back up, repeating the same motion over and over and over, until all of her blood was gone and she was nothing but a dried out husk of human flesh. The silhouette of the ghoul made its way through the mist, revealing itself as a young boy with light brown hair. Kaneki's kagune shot forward, ripping straight through the child's stomach, and coming out through his back.

"Ken?" Kaneki shot up in bed panting. He felt around his left hand for his ring. He traced his finger along its cold metal engravings. Kaneki felt a hand on his back. "Ken what's wrong?" Kaneki turned his head around to face Juuzou. "Bad dream." Kaneki said briefly. He turned his head back around and wiped the sweat off of his forehead with his arm. "It's the third night in a row Ken... Don't you want to talk about it?" Juuzou asked, yawning in between sentences. Kaneki shook his head, "I need some coffee.." Kaneki swung his legs over the bed and made his way into the kitchen. As he was brewing his coffee, Juuzou forced himself out of bed to follow. "Cold! Cold! Cold!" Kaneki heard Juuzou whisper-shouting from inside their room. Juuzou entered the room and walked up to Kaneki's side. He gave Kaneki a quick kiss on the cheek and lifted himself up onto the counter. "Are you sure?" He asked, swinging his legs. Kaneki nodded his head. "It's fine." He responded. Juuzou looked at him questioningly. "Why are ya so stubborn Ken?" Juuzou tilted his head. There was no response. "Are you even paying attention, silly?" Juuzou leaned over in Kaneki's way. "Kennnn!" Juuzou hummed. "Hm? Oh, right... Uh.. What was that?" Kaneki asked. Juuzou shook his head. "You're supposed to tell me what's up Ken." Juuzou said giggling. A small smile formed on Kaneki's lips. "Is that so?" He asked, stirring the spoon in his mug. "Yeah, you can tell me anything Ken." Juuzou jumped off of the counter, almost falling over in the process. He took Kaneki by the arm and practically dragged him to the couch. "Juuzou! Hey wait!" Juuzou threw him down onto the couch. "Alrighty mister! You're gonna tell me about your dream so that I can fix it!" Juuzou threw his hands up in the air and smiled widely. He jumped really high in the air,and landed next to Kaneki on the couch. Juuzou shuffled around a bit before finding a comfortable position and waiting for Kaneki to speak. "Juuzou look... I've done some pretty bad things. It's not a big deal, it just hurts t think about it sometimes." Juuzou grabbed onto Kaneki's arm and snuggled up to him. "Ken! That's okay, I've killed people too you know." There was a long pause. "Yeah but.. They deserved it... I've killed innocent people, people who never did anything." Juuzou took one hand off of Kaneki's arm and put it on his shoulder. "It was for the greater good Ken." Kaneki sipped his coffee, then turned his head towards Juuzou. "Was it?" Juuzou sighed. He got onto his knees and wrapped his arms around Kaneki's head. "It's not your fault Ken..." Kaneki threw his arms around Juuzou's waist and buried his head into his shoulder. Juuzou giggled, "I love you too."
