Hi my name is Lindsey I am a demigod and a big sister to my eight year old brother lucus I am thirteen and my favorite book is called the old Willis place by Mary downing Hahn she is my favorite author in general really I've read all her books any way TO THE PRESENT!!!!!!!!!!!
"Stupid lava" I grumble as I climb the rock climbing wall people are cheering me on and some are for clarese I am pretty popular in my age group here and even though clarese is older I am more athletic and actually have more brains than a fish 'cough' clarese 'cough' I am Seriosly almost positive she has a fish for a brain she is just so stupid
Clarese kicked my hand that was holding on the wall
"CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I yelled as I fell luckily I grabbed a ledge but I was way behind clarese now and that made me mad if she beat me then I would be known as the girl who tried to challenge an older kid and lost and that's not me I NEVER lose even if it's with the toughest kid at camp so I held the ledge tightly
"Hope these gymnastic lessons will work here" I whispered to myself I gripped the ledge tighter if that's possible and flipped up so. Was standing on the next ledge up I gripped the next ledge and pulled myself up really fast I was basically flipping through the entire climb and then I passed clarese
"HA HA SUCKER" I yelled as I passed her she growled then started to climb faster and when I got to the top I screamed "WHOOOOOOO HOOOOOO YEA I WON IN YOU FAT SMELLY FACE CLARESE" and she picked just that moment to come up and decide to beat me to a pulp
"Oh crap" I said before jumping off the mountain
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" I screamed while I fell and landed an Leo Valdez we were friends in a way but he acted like a brother to me his mom and my dad were friends at some point before she died and aparently we used to be best friends when I was three and he was five so when we got up we had a small conversation consisting of m=me L=Leo
M "Hey leo how YA doin"
L "good so how's your day"
M "good good just being chased by a fat hippo"
L "that is so mean"
M " yea but it's funny"
L "ok yea it is pretty funny"
C "I WILL KILL YOU ANGELDI"
M "we'll see YA Leo gotta run from the hippo"
L "have fun"
So that's how the conversation went
(1 hour of running and beating from hippos later)
I ran as fast as I could to the big house with a huge dorky smile on my face Chiron told me to come to the big house because my dad was on the phone for me I miss my dad so much I haven't talked to him since the war which was a while ago and even though he was scared I would get hurt in the war he brought me here to camp
I have been going here every summer since I was nine and I love it here I walked in his office and he was on the phone with my father he smiled warmly at me and handed me the phone
"Thanks Chiron " I said with a huge smile
"Hello" my fathers voice broke though the phone

L "hey daddy"
F "oh Lindsey I've missed you so much how did the war go"
L "we won but lost a lot of good demigods including torren" (my best friend)
F "oh linds I am so sorry but I have good news"
L "really tell me"
F "i am getting married isn't that great"
L "oh. My. Gods. DAD THATS AWESOME "
F "Yes it is she has a son who Is a few years older than you"
L "but there mortals"
F "you say that like its a bad thing we mortals aren't that bad"
L "no that's not it I was just hoping we didn't have to hide it from them if they are as nice as you say then I think it's all gonna work out"
F "ok well I am coming to get you tomorrow ok"
L "dad you told me you were coming like weeks ago and I'm already packed I love this place but I need to see you and Lucas again I miss you guys"
F "he misses you too and so do I"
L "ok see ya tomorrow dad"
F "ok bye linds"
I hung up the phone and jumped up and down with exitment and singing
"MY DADDYS GETIN MARRIED MY DADDYS GETIN MARRIED" over and over
(The next day at pick up for the end of summer)
I sat on the hill with my black and dark blue bookbag leaning against a tree I already said goodbye to my friends now I was just watching everyone else say goodbye and waiting for my ride
"LINDSEY" I heard a little eight year old voice scream in happiness I turned around and saw my brother running at me I kneeled down and opened my arms he ran in and hugged me
"I missed you so much and your going to love Percy he is so cool what was it like to fight in a war how was your summer what's it like in your camp how's mom did you meet mommy how about Zeus in mythomagic he has a lightning bolt tha-" I put my hand over his mouth
"Lucas if you keep asking me questions I'm going to put duck tape on your mouth" we both laughed he knew I was joking but stopped asking questions anyway
"Who's Percy Lucas" I asked my brother on our way to the car
"Oh he's Sally's son"
"Who's sally"
"Percy's mom" I face palmed at his anser and buckled my seatbelt
"Dad who's sally" I asked he smiled Evily
"Percy's mom" he said
"UUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGG YOU PEOPLE URK ME" I said
"WE KNOW" they said in unison
(At home )
I got my bag out of the trunk we aparently moved and Sally and Percy moved to but now we shared this house it was nice with tan siding and a whit roof it was only one floor too but it looked like there was an attic I put on my book bag and walked in the new house there was a woman hugging my dad but I couldn't see her face she had wavy brown hair and it fell to her shoulder blades a boy walked in he looked about sixteen with black hair and green eyes that I couldn't place as just green more like a blue green oh I got it sea green yea his eyes were a sea green and his hair was a mess he was wearing a dark blue shirt and jeans with tennis shoes I was wearing stained jean shorts that used to be pants but are now shorts due to me getting ahold of the sissers at camp and a old shirt with stains on it too and my old black and white converse he walked up to me
"Percy Jackson nice to meet you" he said with his hand held out and a derpy smile on his face
"I'm Lindsey it's nice to meet you too Percy" I said grabbing his hand but instead of shaking hands he pulled me into him so we were hugging I was shocked at first but hugged back my dad doesn't like hugs so I don't get very many we heard my dad laugh and pulled apart I smiled at the woman
"Hi I'm Lindsey" I said she smiled warmly at me
"Hello I'm Sally" and she did the same thing Percy did hugged me what is it with these people and hugs I laughed and so did dad
"Um do I have a bed room" I asked Sally looked at me
"Well yes but your sharing with one of the boys because there isn't enough rooms but this is only a temporary home so don't worry but anyway who would you like to share with" It didn't take me long to choose because I alwase share a room with Lucas and he kicks and falls of his bed or he snores really loud or he throws stuff at me in his sleep
"If it's ok with Percy him because Lucas is a very restless sleeper"
"YES THAT IS PERFECT I had to share a room with Lucas too it is not fun" Percy said making all of us laugh
