I grabbed my dads black north face jacket and pulled on my teal converse and Lucas's old Cubs base ball cap I had a purple and orange under armor book bag with some clothes, my sword and sheath, some money for transportation, and boots I didn't know where I was going but annabeth said there was news he was in Antarctica there were new demigods and I wanted to see what they know about my brothers disappearance as well and I needed nectar and ambrosia for the trip anyway I asked annabeth to come to Antarctica with me but she said she couldn't on Chiron's orders and she wasn't really one for breaking rules which she already broke a lot in the past few weeks due to wanting to find Percy so it was just me on this "joy ride" note the sarcasm the proficy of
the seven was going to be fulfilled too

Wow our lives would make a great book especially Percy's mabey that Rick guy will do it but that's not the point the point is finding Percy and bringing him home I was done waiting for someone to do it for me I was going to find my brother I don't know how this will end I could die but I have to find him I walked into lucas's room and quietly opened the door his small clock said it was twelve pm I gently shook his shoulder to wake him up he sat up and rubbed his small five year old eyes
"Hey Luke" (his nickname)
"What's wrong Lindsey your crying" I smiled sadly at my brother and wiped my eyes
"Yea I am huh" he jumped in my arms
"Don't leave me again!" He said more tears started pouring from my eyes
"Luke I have to find Percy" he looked up at me
"Ok but I love you and don't want you to get hurt or leave me"
"Lucas I can't Promise I'll be back but I can promise that I will love you no matter what happens and if I do die you will be the first and last person I think of ok" he nodded sadly "ok but promise you'll try to be safe" I nodded
"I'll try" his eyes got big and he jumped out of bed and ran over to his dresser and picked up a picture with me and him in it I had my arm draped around his shoulders and he was smiling a big toothy grin I smiled as he handed it to me
"Here so you won't forget" he said I hugged him and put the picture in my bookbag and hugged him one more time before I walked into Sally and dads room silently my dad was sleeping and so was Sally I laid a note that said what I was doing on their nightstand but I read it over again first
Dear Sally and dad
I'm sorry but I love Percy he is the best older brother you could ever have I'm going to find him don't worry I already told lucas goodbye but I knew if I told you guys bye you would get suspicios and wouldn't let me go but if I don't I will never forgive myself I am going to camp and bye the time you read this I will already be gone I love you both and Sally I love you like a real mother I know I don't show it but I do I never had a mom there to tell me how to handle things and to show me how to get through life but having you now makes up for that and dad I love you a lot please don't come look for me you have to let me find him and after the war I will be back but I havnt told you yet because I was scared you would try to keep me away from camp but Gea the earth Titan is rising she is going to destroy the world and Percy and a team of demigods are the only ones able to stop it annabeth said I was probably on that team but even if I am I love you daddy and I'll see you soon

I wiped my eyes and picked my bag up and left our home to find my brother
