My attitude had shifted. I was going to stick to my promise of making his life fucking hell. That fucking prick was gonna see the power I held. I swept out of the bus brushing my fingers through my hair. With red eyes I walked to a pub. Not the same one that the boys had been, although it was closer. Reliving that moment was the absolute last fucking thing I wanted to do.

As I stepped in my mood brightened at the sight of alcohol. I had maybe 4 glasses of whiskey. My tolerance is very low. I was basically trashed. I decided to phone my friend Dylan who I'd always secretly liked. He says he'd swing by the pub. About 15 minutes later took the seat next to me.

"I see I'm not the only one going through it tonight," I laughed at his joke but mainly at his god-awful tone. "Can I buy you a drink pretty lady?" He said. His attempt at complimenting me was repulsive.

"I think I've had enough thanks doll," the words slurred of my tongue as I started to rise.

"Yeah maybe just a little darling," he chuckled which made me a tad bit embarrassed and red in the cheeks. Maybe old Dylan from secondary school wasn't all that bad. A plan slowly fell into place. Alex was going to extremely jealous if I brought this bloke back to the bus. And that's exactly what I wanted.

"You a good kisser?" I boldly spat. As I stepped towards him I put my hands around the back of his neck and he leaned down to kiss me. He tasted minty. It was honestly refreshing. "Come back with me" he followed behind me holding my hand as I led him to the bus.

I slid open the bus door to reveal Alex on the settee with blood on his face and his hands taped up. I gasped and shut the door before he could get a look at me. After all he never wanted to see me again.

"There's people in there and I've got to go. I'm so sorry I'll call you when I get back home." I fretted pushing him away from Alex's bloody scene.

"Oh um okay" he stuttered. I planted a kiss on his cheek, and ran for the bus.

Once inside I slowly tried to step past Alex without him noticing me.

"Tenny," his voice quivering. My heart filled to the brim with worry.

"Oh Al," I sniffled with tears in my eyes. I beared onto the settee next to him and wiped the salty tears falling from his bruised eye. He winced from my touch.

"I didn't mean any of that stupid fucking shit I said. And I'm sorry. I'm such a sore fucking bastard." He scoffed.

"I know you didn't. You don't have to apologi-" I said trying to comfort him.

"I do though. I said some mean shit that I didn't mean in the heat of the moment. That I didn't mean. And I'm so sorry Tenny."

"Al I'm more worried about your busted face at the moment. What's past is past." His face softened and fell into a smile. As his head fell onto my shoulder.

Is he worth the pain?
