Author's Note:

Bare with me through this first chapter, I just rewrote it and I hope you like it. (:

There's always that one girl with the most beautiful eyes you've ever seen, the cutest smile, and the best butt. She just so happens to be my lab partner.

"Morning, Scarlett." I greet her cheerfully, a smile flashing on my face.

She gives me her usual shy wave after pushing her glasses up her nose. Her face shows no sign of emotion other than embarrassment as she notices my eyes are still on her.

"Do you plan on taking a seat, Mr. Styles, or are you going to stand there all hour?" Mr. Calvin jokes. He's my favorite teacher. Well, one of the reasons being he's the football coach, and another being he partnered me with Scarlett Cartwright. Not only did she have banging looks, but she had the cutest personality. Anything you said to her would either embarrass her and make her blush, or she would smile and giggle.

"Sorry mate, I'll sit." I pat Mr. Calvin on the shoulder and take my seat next to Scarlett. He starts the lesson, but my attention is all on her. She has her elbows up on the table and her chin planted firmly on her small palms. Her super long, light brown, wavy hair almost reached her bum. She was quite short though, probably a foot shorter than me. From the position I was looking at her, her nose looked as cute as a button. Every time I see her, I just want to reach out and bop her nose with my pointing finger. Her dark brown eyes were enough to melt anyone's heart, including my own. She was so beautiful, and she didn't even know.

I watched as she turned her cute, little head to me. Her small stature reminded me of a forth grader, but she made up for it with her big bum. Her cheeks flushed a light pink as she realized I was staring at her again. One side of my lips curled into a sexy half smile, every other girl has fallen for it, so why not her?

"H-Harry," She stuttered, causing my full smile to replace the smirk. I love when she says my name in her sweet, delicate voice. "What do you want to do our project on?" She asks me, looking straight into my eyes.

"What project?" I ask, raising an eyebrow then running my fingers through the curly mat of brown locks on the top of my head.

"The one I just explained. You better make this project good, or you'll have to sit out next week's game." Coach- erm I mean, Mr. Calvin scolded me. Great, I was so caught up in taking in Scarlett's beautiful features that I didn't even hear him explain the project. Now I've just made myself look like a complete idiot in front of her! My thoughts were once again interrupted by her cute giggle filling my ears, making my heart flutter.

"We have to come up with a way to conserve energy and-" She started, but I cut her off by saying, "Oh, awesome. So then you'll come over after school, and we'll get started, yeah?"

Scarlett's fingers started to twitch - no shake, as if she was nervous. Her lips opened then closed as she hesitated with her answer. She opened her mouth a final time to answer me, but she was once again cut off from speaking. This time by the bell.

"Great, I'll meet you by your locker after school." I informed her, giving her my famous smirk and wink combo before packing up my books and heading to next period. Finally! Finally I had a reason to hang out with her, one she couldn't refuse. Scarlett is once of those people who care about their grades, a lot. Which is another one of the things I loved about her. She wasn't one of those girls who faked dumb to look cute, and she wasn't just plain old stupid either. She was a lot different than most of the girls I went out with. She wasn't a slag, she didn't wear revealing clothing, nor was she a complete bitch. She was sweet, kind, smart, pretty, giggly, and just perfect. She was all that and a side of ketchup. She was Scarlett. And if Scarlett was anything, she was cute.
