I shook my head then ran my fingers through my thick hair. I tousled it to get it just right. I took a bottle of strawberry breath spray and sprayed a few splashes of the tasty liquid on my tongue. I fixed my clothes, smoothing my white T-shirt and pulling my black athletic shorts up a bit so my boxers wouldn't show. I threw on a dark green hoodie that matched my eyes. Picking up my Green Bay Packers SnapBack and putting it on my head was the last thing I needed to do before picking up Scarlett at her locker.
I turned the corner to the hallway her locker was in. Since they go alphabetical, I'm quite sad my last name didn't start with a C. With all the larger people in the hallway, I could hardly find the girl. When I did, I found her reaching to the top of her locker. You see there's a shelf in the top and she wasn't tall enough to see and find what she was feeling for. Although it angered me slightly that no one had the courtesy to help her, I was glad to use the opportunity to my advantage and start a conversation. I snuck up behind her and whispered in her ear, "What are you looking for, cutie?"
She spun on her heels quickly to face me. She balled her tiny fingers and punched me in the shoulder. The hit hurting me less than she would have hoped. She can't be the strongest girl with those small, smooth arms. I'm surprised she can even carry her books.
"Hey! Don't sneak up on me! You scared the um..." she stopped, wrinkles appearing on her forehead in thought.
"Shit out of you?" I ask, raising my eyebrow.
"You shouldn't swear, you know." She scolds me.
"Sorry, princess. Now, what is it that you're trying to find?" I asked, looking down into her chocolate eyes.
"Just a, um..." She trailed off looking into my green eyes. I watched as a spark erupted through her eyes as they searched for something in mine. "It's a um, note." She finally explains. I shake my head in understanding. I reach up above her small head and pushed stuff around looking for a note, but not finding one.
"There's no note up here." I state, my eyes creasing, eyebrows furrowing in confusion. My hand fell back to my side and grabbed my phone out of my pocket. I checked the time, wasn't much past fifteen o'clock. That gives me three hours of alone time with Scarlett until my mom gets home.
"Oh, that's weird." She says, shaking her head. Her small arm reaches for her bag and she heaves it over her shoulder. The fact she can even pick it up is unfathomable. I reached for her bag, thinking it as the right thing to do for this beautiful, yet weak girl. She hesitated in letting me take it, but I insisted. I reached down and took her hand in my own after throwing her backpack onto my right shoulder, the action at first shocking her. She then wrapped her tiny fingers close to the hot skin on the back of my much larger hand. I looked back down at her as I turned. She smiled back up at me, my stomach flooding with butterflies as her light pink lips curled at the edges. I didn't smile back, though, I was too nervous.
The walk to my car was short because being me, Harry Styles, the biggest catch in this school, I got front row seating. Well, parking actually. I chuckled to myself at how completely cocky that made me sound while I opened the passenger side door to my big, shiny, black Ford Truck. It's the latest model and cost my mom a few bucks, but she didn't mind. I watched as she tried desperately to look cool as she climbed into the high cab. I figured that was enough torture and picked her up by her hips. I set her light body in the seat and watched as her cheeks blushed. The shade of light red looking so much cuter on her than any girl I've ever made blush. I shut her door quietly, smiling to myself because I had the best girl on earth sitting in the front seat of my car. The girl I thought about until three in the morning most nights. I got into the driver's seat with ease and turned the keys, the engine revving to life.

"Oh my gosh, your house is... it's just huge." She spoke quietly, her eyes widening in surprise. They scan the entire outside of my house then land on me. A shy smile tugging at her lips when she realizes I've been watching her from the moment she got out of the car.
The ride here was basically me stealing glances at her. Each time she would catch me, we would both be left smiling at each other until the moment would be ruined by drivers on the opposing side honking at me to get back into my own lane. My uncareful driving left Scarlett nervous, but each time she would leave me satisfied with one of her adorable giggles. She is the only girl that I've ever heard giggle without making me want to shove pencils in my ears on account of the high level of annoyance I found in the inglorious sound coming from their mouths.
I led the way to my house. I opened the door and stepped back. "Ladies first." I said chivalrously, outstretching an arm as if I'm presenting something to her. She hesitantly stepped inside as she took in the scent of my home. To me, it smelled like a light vanilla. My mom always loved when my dad used to wear vanilla scented cologne, now she just left vanilla air fresheners all around the house. As we walked further inside, her eyes widened to an unreal size. I grabbed her hand and led her upstairs to my room. I didn't even have to turn around and check to know she was blushing something furious.
I stood in the doorway of my bedroom with her hand still in mine. Her tiny mouth opened to form an "o." She actually gasped at it. "Y-You have a hot tub in your room?" She asked, her voice raising slightly over her usual shy tone.
"Well, technically it's a jacuzzi, but yeah." I laughed, lifting one arm and scratching the back of my head. She took a few wandering steps into my room. She walked to my king size bed, her fingers lightly gliding along the soft fabric of the sheets. Her eyes searching through every corner of the room as her hand moved.
"Oh sh- erm, I mean darn it. We left our bags in the car." I remembered.
She sighed and began towards me, leaning in the driveway. I put my hand up in protest, stopping her. "No no, princess. You stay here, I'll get yours for you."
I sprinted downstairs and out the door to the car. After grabbing our bags, I hurried back up to my room. I turned the corner into my room, Scarlett had her back turned to me. She was reading something, or maybe just looking at something? After slowly and quietly setting our bags on my bed, I snuck up behind her and wrapped my arms around her then bent down to set my head on her shoulder, looking down to see what she was holding.
"H-Harry, where is your family? I-I thought you lived with only your mom.."
