(~Your POV~)

"I'm just saying. Nightmare's been starving him as a punishment so I would be careful. Horror can do a lot of things when he's starving enough." Dust warns me. "Horror says he's never eaten a human so I think it'll be okay." I respond, feeling terrible for Horror.

'Poor thing. I need to get him some Grillby's or *gasp* BLUE CAN MAKE HIM TACOS!'

My eyes scan the woods, looking for any sign of him or the others, "You're sure he's here?" "Yep, I told him to meet us here. There he is." It wasn't much longer until I spotted Horror up ahead.

"HORROR!" I squeal happily, running as fast as my legs could take me. He twists around to see me but before he can even react, I slam into him with a tackle hug. He wheezes, crushed under me.

Dust dies laughing as he catches up, still following behind me, "On second thought, maybe I should've warned him 10 minutes in advance instead of 5. Hey buddy! You still got all your ribs intact?"

I nervously laugh, quickly scrambling to get off of him, "Sorry." Horror sits up, wide eyed as he gets a better look at me, "Oh my gosh, you weren't kidding. Y/N, you're-.." I smirk, "Not dead unlike you?"

Horror tears up with a big smile, "Exactly! Oh my gosh!" I laugh and give him a tight yet more normal hug this time, to which he happily accepted. I pull back and check him for any injuries, just in case I hurt him. Horror chuckles, assuring that he's fine. I stand and help pull him up to his feet.

"I'm really sorry, Horror. All of this is my fault and-" "No one wants to play the blame game, Y/N. That's exactly why Killer lost his mind in the first place." Horror puts his hands in his pockets, his one eye light gazing to the side.

I huff, still wanting to apologize anyway. Horror asks, "So Dust told me you want to get to Killer?" I nod, "The Star Sanses went ahead. They're going to help us so I can get to him."

Horror sighs, scratching his head, "Y/N. I'm going to be honest. Nightmare's not going to give up his toy just because you want him too. And Killer's not necessarily in his right mind either."

"Did Nightmare hurt him?" I ask firmly. Both of the skeletons look to each other, expecting the other to give me an answer. I repeat myself in a darker tone, "Guys. Did he hurt Killer?" Dust slaps Horror's shoulder, "Say something!"

Horror breaks eye contact with me, "Y/N, I think Nightmare hurt Killer enough by hurting you. With you gone, Killer couldn't handle the pain and grief like he went through for his brother. It didn't take long until he just.. completely gave up.. He was normally like this before you came along and that's what we were used to. Now, I can't help but feel sick when I see him like this again." Dust agrees, "Yeah.. I don't really know, it feels off."

'I can help but we need Error and Nightmare out of the way.'

(~Time Skip~)

Rushing into Snowdin, it's clear that the war's already started. Snapped bone attacks in various spots. Random puddles of black ink in the snow. We even passed the broken jaw of a blaster. It terrifies me, one question bound to my mind.

'Is everyone okay?'

Horror and Dust run alongside me, looking at all of the broken house debris. Horror takes a moment to hand me his phone, "Y/N, take this! You ever need Dust's help, you call him. Got it?!" Dust doesn't object so I accept it, slipping the phone into my pocket.
