"Im just.. Tired"

(Clem's POV)

My whole body hurt.

My arm where Sam bit me started bleeding.

My clothes were tattered now.

I looked up at Amanda and Steve.

"Duck.." I choked out.

"Carl.."

Then everything went black.

(Carl's POV)

"Clem?" I said worried.

She wasn't moving anymore.

"What did you do!!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

I started kicking the guards and I got free.

I ran to clem and picked her up in my arms.

"I won't give up.. On us.. Even if the sky's... Get.. Rough.. I'm giving you all my love.. I'm still looking up.." I started to sing to her through tears.

"I won't give up.. On us" I repeated.

Amanda was still standing in front of Steve.

"Look what you've done!!" She screamed.

" I hate you, I wish I was never your daughter!!! She screamed and ran away.

I listened to her footsteps and It sounded like she went up into Steves office and locked the door.

"Aj.. Judith" I said in a worried voice.

Then I looked down at clem again and seen that I have a bigger problem here.

"Go get your stupid daughter" Steve said to Lucinda as she ran upstairs.

"She's your daughter too" Lucinda yelled back at him.

"Get away boy" Steve said and pulled me away.

The guards took me to a job at the top of the roof, the greenhouse.

"I can't believe all those people, just like us stuck here, didn't even help her" I thought.

I was doing my job, clipping off the bad leaves and putting them in a pile, and pick the ripe berries.

Nobody else was on the roof with me so I snuck out of the greenhouse and I sat down on the edge and look out into the woods.

I seen a man, Steve pulling a girl by both of her feet.

"Clem!" I said to myself.

He pulled her deep into the woods so I couldn't see.

I decided to try to sneak out and follow them.

*carl snuck past all the guards and made it to the beginning of the woods*

I crouched behind the bushes and follow the footprints.

I caught up to them and I seen Steve whip Clementine and just threw her on the floor.

I waited for him to leave them I sat behind the bush and just watched.

I seen clem open her eyes and start to cry a little.

Her hat was lying on the ground in front of her, she was still bleeding all over.

"Duck.." She started saying.

"Why did you have to leave, I loved you" she said to herself.

"Uh oh" I started thinking.

"He's the boy I shot because he loved clem.."

"I'm just... Tired.." Clem said.

She closed her eyes.

I came out from behind the bush and sat down next to her.

"Don't leave me, I thought you left me back there but you didn't, I need you" I said to Clem.

"I love you clem"

I started crying my eyes out, and naturally, I kissed Clem's lips.

"We're getting out of here.." I said.

I seen Amanda coming towards me, with judith and 4 knifes in her hand.

"What?" I started to say.

Then I seen Lucinda, with aj in her arms and a big bag.

"It has guns in it and 2 first aid kits" she said.

"Take these" she said and handed me aj and the bag.

She picked up clem and started running away from the school.

"What going on?" I asked while by her side.

"We're leaving this place, I can't live like that anymore" she said.

"What about the rest of the people?" I asked again.

"They'll get out someday, we told them a plan and gave them some things" she said.

It was about 5:00 and it was getting dark a little bit.

Because clem was bleeding so bad, walkers were following us.

"Where are we heading?" I asked.

"There's a tourist site not that far away, that's where" she answered.
