After Lavender discovered that her God had been kidnapped, she started an investigation to find him. The person who took him deserved to be punished.
She started by asking the residents of the valley questions about the Cow, in hopes of getting a lead on the case.

She started with one of the newcomers, Mia Whitecastle. V had invited her over for tea, as Whitecastle seemed to enjoy refined things.
"Why would I know where the cow went, dear? I've never even met him! If i could help you, I would, but I unfortunately have no clue.." Mia said after taking a sip of the tea, her finger circling the rim of the cup. Lavender sighed, of course she didn't know anything, she was new to the valley... plus, V thought, even if she did know something, the chances that she would say so were slim, as Mia never seemed to be completely there.

After talking to Whitecastle, Lavender deemed it was Milk's turn. They met up at Milk's house, the mage was busy mixing up things in a brewing stand, one of the ingredients was a clear bottle which seemed to contain sparkly water, and the only thing on the label was a little red mushroom. Roots with glowing orbs at the ends were hanging from the ceiling, out of curiosity, Lavender reached out her hand to grab one. "I wouldn't touch that if I were you" said milk without turning around to look at V. But that peaked Lavender's interest even more, she would definitely remember to look into that..."So," sighed the mage, "what can I do for you, V?". V took a seat at the table next to the mage, and explained the situation, asking Milk questions about the Cow. "Hmm... that doesn't surprise me," they muttered, "listen, I don't know where he went, perhaps he got lost! Loosen up a bit, my friend, i'm sure you'll find him soon enough" milk said, a slight grin in their voice. As V got up and walked to the door, she thought she heard Milk say something along the lines of "good riddance, that cow was too dangerous to live in the mortal realm..." but maybe that was just her imagination.

Next, it was cam's turn. Lavender found her in the fighting ring with Citrus, they seemed to get along. "Hey Boletus!" V shouted, "C'mere for a sec?". Cam turned around to look at V, she was panting from training with Citrus. She wiped her damp hands on her pants and walked towards V, then sat down onto the grass next to her, closing her eyes with her head towards the sky. "This is about your Cow, isn't it?" Cam said. "Yeah, you guessed right, do you happen to know anything?" asked Lavender, while evaluating the scars on Cam's face. Boletus started giggling "Oh I don't have a clue, Lavender! Quite honestly, I find it a tad strange that you're so worked up over a cow, but hey, we all have our things, eh!... Quit staring at my face, would ya?" V averted her gaze, embarrassed to have gotten caught staring at Cam. "It's not strange. God Cow saved us all, he deserves to be worshipped." Lavender exclaimed, her voice was laced with motivation, and maybe a bit of anger. Cam got back up and started heading towards the arena where Citrus was waiting for her. She turned around before entering the arena and looked in V's direction. "Good luck, my friend" she said, a strange smile on her face.

V tried to question Butter next, but they wouldn't speak, V didn't even know if they could speak...

Finally, it was Marie's turn. Lavender found her in front of the portal, she seemed anxious. Marie must've sensed her presence, because she turned around before V could say anything.  "Ah, hello V, how are you today?" she said, looking over Lavender's shoulder, as if someone was behind her. "Could be better, I assume you know why i'm here.", Lavender said with a serious voice. "Yes of course! The disappearance of our dearest God Cow, what a tragedy!" Marie exclaimed dramatically, fanning herself with her hand, but she saw that her act didn't affect V, and her face turned serious. "Mh, no, I do not know where he is", she said in a monotone voice, before her expression switched up again, she was back to her dramatic act when she started talking, "but you know, my little friend, that the Infernox Clan is always there to help you on your adventures to find the great, the amazing even, God Cow!". Marie was slowly walking towards Lavender while talking, their height difference was quite frightening. V scoffed, "hah, yeah, thank you Marie, i'll be sure to keep you up to date..." she said, maybe a bit sarcastically. Lavender was a bit suspicious of Marie, but there wasn't enough evidence.

It was a long day for V, she didn't have any leads on the cows disappearance. Tomorrow, she would start phase B of her plan to find her God.
