(Y/N) gripped onto the side of her schoolbag as she gazed at the large building that stood before her. She had recently graduated from junior high, and it was finally time for her to start her first year of high school. Currently aged 15, she was ready to be independent without her older brother watching her every move. Pushing through the crowd of rambling students, she ducked her head gently while attempting to read her class schedule.
(y/n) looked around curiously at the similar doorframes trying to get to her classroom on time. The bell was about to ring, and of course, she didn't want to arrive late.. how embarrassing that would be! Watching the other students frantically dash around had made her grow nervous, causing her to look down and recheck her notes once again.
"Class 1-3.. alright, I- OW!" She held her forehead as she felt the pain sting horribly.
"Ah, sorry about that..!" A feminine voice apologized. Looking up, (y/n) faced a beautiful girl, most likely a third year. The female's mature features complemented her persona. And just to top it off, a sexy beauty mark was placed right underneath the side of her lip. "Pretty.." (y/n) started. Realizing what she had said, the frantic girl slapped her hand over her mouth in embarrassment. "I-I mean, I apologize as well..!" The older girl chuckled at the statement.
"My name is Kiyoko Shimizu, a third-year." She introduced, holding her hand out. Shaking it, (y/n) introduced herself as well. "(y/n) Udai, but I prefer that you'd use (l/n) instead." Kiyoko smiled as she picked up a folder that had dropped to the ground minutes earlier. "Are you lost?" She asked kindly.
(y/n) scratched the back of her neck with an awkward smile. Looking at the floor, she mumbled. "Haha, yeah. Would you happen to know where class 1-3 is?" Kiyoko nodded her head as she lifted her chin in the air, motioning to a nearby door. "You should find it on the second door to the right of the corridor." Adjusting her uniform, she turned around to face the other direction. "I'll see you around, (l/n)-San. I've got to get going now before I'm late."
"Thank you, Shimizu senpai! I'll see you around as well." (y/n) said gratefully.
After ending the conversation, (y/n) continued her search for the room. Finally finding it, she made her way into her new classroom. Multiple of her classmates were already seated as she made her entrance. She walked slowly as she found her designated seat. Her desk mate was already there, his raven-colored bangs were hung over his face as he held a carton of.. milk in his hand. Tilting her head slightly, (y/n) sat down beside him. The boy only turned away slightly after she had settled. (y/n) couldn't help but feel offended by his actions.
