Laying down on my bed while my three cousins
Sat on the floor playing the game on my tv it was my first day of my senior year and I don't feel like getting up at all well to be honest it's not even my real first day I just been putting school off for a week because I haven't been feeling it.
"Getcho ass up"minxs said pulling my arms making me sit up
I mugged him then looked around the room to see if Ben was going to help me of course he wasn't even watching I sighed then sat there for a second
"What are you doing here anyway mr Hollywood"I said pointing at minx his smile faded and it got quiet
Minx's is my aunt vivs son he was the biggest and best basketball player in the city top 5 best high schooler players in the world
Minx never really wanted that though you would think when you have every school on your tail trying to push you to make millions you would jump for but he just didn't care he just was worried about the most prettiest girl in the school

Amani she was a poor girl who Ben bumped into with minx at the basketball court
Ben says that when they where playing basketball the whole time minx kept look over at her to where Ben started beating him and Ben stopped the game wondering what was going on with him and Amani
minx told him that he never seen her before and that she was different
Yea not very original huh?...
Anyways Ben being the confident good friend he is walked over to Amani and told her that minx liked her and she was to shy and thought he was lying so now Amani won't even speak to minx but he try's to talk to her everyday
"Uh me and moms got in a argument"he answered lowly everybody went back to what they where doing making the silence unawkward
I nodded walking out the room
I finished my hair by pushing up my curls in the bathroom me and my little cousin Vinici where looking in the mirror
Vinci wasn't my real cousin to be honest he could be my brother I don't know we where both adopted into the family but we're both treated like family Vinci looks more like a Mexican his got a tear from by his eye because he killed somebody at 10
I remember it like it was yesterday going to get him out of the jail I don't know how he did it or where shit I don't even know if he even did it but I know he came back from the jail with a tear drop tattoo and I was always taught that meant you caught a body
But anyways
now at the age 14 he spends his days sitting silent at school in the back of the class never doing anything or saying anything until the bell rings and then he doesn't say much to anything then either
I've only heard that though of course since me and him are 3 years part from each other and even though Vinci is supposed to be my cousin I always look at him as my little brother
"You ready to go essay?"I asked Vinci looking up to him he was fixing his chain in the mirror he gave a simple nod letting me know it was time to go
I went back in my room grabbing my purse to see man man in my bed sleep I rolled my eyes and went to look at Ben to scorn him for letting his friends in my house unexpectedly but he was sleep right along with him
I sighed and lifted my hands up taking a breath in from my nose and putting my hands back down releasing the breathe from my mouth
And turned to walk out the house
"Let god be with us"I spoke as I closed my bedroom door
