"What the hell man," I mumbled to myself in frustration.
I've been trying to get into contact with Brooklyn since last night. Last time we talked, she told me she would be out with a friend and she'll call when she gets back home. However, I ain't got not a call, a text, nothing.
I know she couldn't still be mad at me because she has nothing to be mad about. Yea things have been rocky following out fight in October, and yea Brooklyn can get really petty at times, yet she ain't never ignored me this long before. Especially knowing she had to take Levi for the weekend.
I have an important conference to attend this weekend in Black Edge, Greyton Rivera so I can't carry Levi with me. He's a child and could never sit still for long. Now I gotta hurry up and find somebody to take care of Levi while I'm gone.
I scrolled through my contacts until I saw someone whom I know I can definitely rely on to watch their god-son.
"Hello!" she picked up on the 4th ring.
"Aye, are you free to watch Levi for me until tomorrow evening? I have a really important conference to attend for school and I can't get through to Brooklyn at the moment."
"Of course, yeah. I'm free. You can meet me at Walmart. I'll be done shopping by then," was the last thing said before the end of the call.
-15 Minutes later. In The Walmart Parking Lot
I met up with Sa'rain in order to drop off Levi for her to babysit him as I go off to my meeting.
"Aye thanks so much for this. I know it was last minute."
"No problem. I did tried to call Brooklyn myself but she's not answering. Her phone is going straight to voicemail. When I get back to the apartments, I'll check if she's home and update you."
"Ight. Thanks Sa'rain. Bye Levi, I love you," I kissed his forehead.
"Wove you too dada," he smiled and waved.
I truly hope that Brooklyn's ass at that complex and even if she is, well for sure have to discuss this situation.

I just got back into Key City from Black Edge and the first thing I did was drive over to Brooklyn's place. We got some business to handle.
