A NEW BEGINNING ??

" Kya ..??? Kya hua dadi ko ?? Main abhi next flight pakar k aati hoon Kolkata wapas .. " She panicked ..
Her eyes teared up instantly . She was so close to her grandmother . The thought of losing her scared the shit out of her .

" Aare baba kotha shon aage ...
Hum sab Mumbai aarahe the ... Toh airport se nikalke thode der aake hi unki tabiyat thodi kharab hogayi ...
Doctor ko dikhaya hain abhi .. kuch nahi hua daadi ko beta .. ekdom thik aache ..bas Thora pressure low hogaya tha ... Hamne kitni baar kahaan kuch khale .. nahi unhe tere saath hi khana hain ..
Hum bas tujhe lene aahi rahe hain ... Phir eksaath hotel chale jayenge .. "

Kailash briefly explained her anxious  daughter avoiding a topic though .

" Ek minute ... Tomra kno asle  Mumbai ?? Plan toh nahi tha aane ka ?? " Shehnaaz enquired .

" Aare aschi ... Saans lene de abhi ... Hotel mein bataunga tujhe chal ready hoja .. hum 15 min mein aajayenge...  Phir teri behen k sasural walo se milke chalte hain " her dad cut the call before she could pop up with another question .

Shehnaaz was hell confused . They were behaving weird . But her grandmother was fine , it all matters to her now .

She was ready and was packing her bags when Shweta entered her room with a sad face . Shehnaaz too looked at her with a sad pout . In few days , the Mishra's enjoyed their heart out . Shehnaaz was like a sunshine , whose bright rays spread happiness and nurtured life .
She was a caring soul . Once opened up and made comfortable , she could be the limelight . It was impossible to ignore her.
She was named " Shehnaaz " because she was their pride .
She was barely of six years .. when she asked the meaning of her name .

" Shehnaaz matlab Shahenshah ki Naaz , Naaz matlab yu manle  Abhimaan  "  her mother had answered .

" Ohhh ... Par Shahenshah kaun hain ?? " Her wide big eyes looked at her mother for an answer .

" Tor bor ( your husband ) " her grandmother had laughed at the frown that her face had. 

Vandita ji smiled at the memory . Her grandchild had turned 23 now . And the two surprises they had brought for her might change her life completely
They don't know how she is going to react . But they knew their daughter and they felt that she will atlast  understand them .

" Bhai ??? " Varun tapped his shoulder  to gain his attention .

" Haaa ..haaann bol na " Sidharth fumbled .

" Woh Mummy ne aapko wtp pe tasweer bheji thi ... Hamare hone waale bhabhi ki "
Varun spoke mischievously .

Sidharth's one death glare was enough for him to gulp hard and practically run out of his room to save himself .
He was least interested in all these but somehow he doesn't know why he thought of seeing the photo . He unlocked his phone and directly checked wtp. 
The photo he saw made him all stunned unable to believe what he saw .

" Accha toh abhi pehle acchi baat batate hain ...
Tere toh results aachuke the na .... Aur tere professor ne tujhe apne hi college mein as a junior professor ki job ki baat ki thi ..
Jiske liye tune khud interview bhi diya tha ??? Yaad hain na ??
Toh tu usme pass hogayi Hain ..." Mr. Sen finally spilled the news to his daughter who is now jumping like a kid in happiness 😂❣️.

Shehnaaz was a bright student . And she had worked very hard for her masters .
She had studied on Amity University for her UG and PG course .
Her professor Mr. Rao found her to be the best among the lot as the new recruit in her college .
So he had personally asked her whether she would like to work as a professor in Amity after her masters .
She had instantly agreed ,but her only condition was that she wants to grab the job on her own , without any help or reference .

Mr Rao had smiled at her decision and asked her to prepare for the interview .
Her interview was very good .
And her all hardwork had finally paid off today ..
She was happy .
She read the letter repeatedly out of happiness ,but one thing caught her attention .

Her placement was on Amity University , Mumbai . That means she no longer could stay on kolkata . Atleast for few years .
It was good for her otherwise . That college building specially that floor .... Will not haunt her or point out her mistakes . Good for her ...
Her friends had made it bearable for her during her UG.
Her PG was on a seperate building ... Helping her to completely focus on her studies and forget everything .

" Aur ek baat thi beta " her father said ,  a bit hesitant for his next words .

Vandita ji was caressing her grand daughter's hair lovingly noticing her expressions. 
Shehnaaz was lost.  She hadn't expected in her dreams that her parents would think of an alliance for her now .
It's not that she was dreading  marriage , she never thought much about it . A simple girl she was .
She knew her parents .. they would never force her . They have agreed to meet the family only after she had received her appointment letter . She also knew that the final decision will be hers .

She unlocked her phone and looked at the photo they had sent . His face was something she couldn't stop looking at . He was so insanely handsome and his one smile was enough for her cheeks to redden .

" Abhi se apni pati se nazrein nahi hat rahi ... " Her grandmother teased her and her eyes went wide . She had actually forgotten about her presence .
Her grandmother laughed hard at  her flushed face .

She decided to talk with him . There's nothing wrong , her parents will be happy too .
And her heart too wanted to meet the man . She didn't knew why ?

He was lost lying down on the bed with his mother sitting beside him .

  The face still fresh on his mind . Yes , she was that same girl he saw few days ago . The girl , his heart so secretly wished to meet again .. to keep staring at her for the longest time ... She was the alliance her mother found for him . The coincidence surprising him .

" Maa ... Main khayal toh rakh paunga na ?? " Sidharth whisphered finally expressing his inner turmoil .

" Kahin Priya jaise .... "

" nahi  ... Aisi baatein mat soch beta ... Tu bohot dhyan rakhega ... Mujhe Patah hain .. tu bohot zimmedar insaan hain ... Aur mera dil jaanta hain ki yehi tere liye sahi ladki Hain ... Purane cheezein yaad karke .. apna present aur future kharab mat kar ...
Jo bhi huwa tha .... Woh ek haadsa tha .. Teri galti nahi thi ...
Ab bass tu kuch nahi sochega ... Woh milne aayenge tere exhibition k baad ..
Woh log yahaan nahi rehte Patah hi hain tujhe ...
Toh tab baat karlena usse .. uske baad teri marzi .. hmm ??
Bohot raat hogayi Hain beta soja ... " Surbhi ji pecked his forehead lovingly and went out mumbling a goodbye.

 Riya was the most excited one after seeing the girl's photo . Why not ?
She was the same girl with whom she went shopping . Her best friend's cousin sister .
And now her best friend's cousin sister was also one of her close friends .
Riya , Shweta and Shehnaaz being the very own small yet fab girl gang .
She knew A girl like Shehnaaz will be the best for her brother .

She silently prayed that this alliance gets confirmed and Shehnaaz becomes her sister in law .

" Kya mast maza ayega yaar Shehnaaz aur main ek hi ghar mein " Riya giggled to herself .

" Abhi main kisiko nahi bataungi .. Sana baby ko aane toh do .. tab woh puri shocked hoyegi " Riya imagined Shehnaaz's face and laughed at that .
