Part 5- Reached Mangalore Part 2

Flashback

Nandu was at her home in Mangalore. She had returned after 6 months from Delhi. She was talking to Alya on a video call which was ended when she heard loud sounds of her brother and father.

Nandu went to the living area and she saw her brother and father arguing on something

Cabir: Mene kaha na Nandu meri princess pehle hai fir apki

Raman: Oye meri beti hai wo tho wo meri princess pehle hai

Cabir: Kaha na mene wo meri princess hai pehle fir apki beti

Raman: Cabir tu maar khayega mere hatho se. Just shut up and accept that she is my princess.

Cabir: Oh please Appa.. (he saw Nandini giggling at their petty fight)

Cabir: Nandu tu hi bta tu kiski princess pehle hai Appa ki ya meri

Raman: Meri beti mera hi naam legi haina Nandu?

Cabir: Appa stop manipulating her mind. Aur nandu tu bta de inko ki tu meri princess hai

Raman: Ab kon kar rha hai manipulate meri phool si beti ko

Nandu sat in between both of them and

Nandu: Appa aur bhaiyyu apko aise jhagadne ki koi zarootat nhi hai. Mai aap dono ki princess hu. And I love u both bohot saara.

They both side hugged Nandu

Sharda was just watching the trio with slight tears of happiness

Sharda: Abhi aisa haal hai jab wo sirf 6 mahine door thi. Ek baar shaadi ho gayi tho fir kya karoge aap theeno. Aur agar ladka Mangalore ka nahi hua tho?

This was enough for the Murthy men and Nandu

They all had tears now

Cabir hugged Nandu

Cabir: Mai meri princess ko kayi door nahi bhejunga. (Pulled out of the hug)
Suna aap logo ne. Uske liye hum Mangalore se hi koi ladka dundenge. Taaki princess se hum mil paye

Sharda: Aisa nahi hota hai Cabir. Ladki k liye rishta kahi se bhi aa sakta hai. And u r being very selfish.

Cabir: Ha hu mai selfish. Mai abhi bhi Nandu ko nhi bhejta humse door but uske future k liye I did so. Lekin shaadi wo yaha k kisise hi kregi.

Saying this he went to his room and rest all sighed.

Flashback ended

Manik was chuckling at the start but became serious on the end but hided it.

Manik: Seriously itni si choti baat pe jhagda

Nandini: Aise hi hai mere bhaiyyu

Manik: Nandu...sorry if I am hurting u by asking this question but Cabir tumhare liye kuch zyada protective nahi hai? Like meri bhi behen hai but mene kabhi aisa nhii....I hope u understand (he was trying not to hurt her)

Nandu: (sighed) Yes he is very protective for me but there is a reason for it

Manik: Reason?

Nandu: We were in the school..I was in 5th std. And bhaiyyu in 9th. Hum school se sath me hi aate the aur sath hi jate the roz. 1 din na I demanded Ice cream aur wo time me bhaiyyu loved me a lot but he wasn't this protective. He was very cool and believed that I can take care of myself. I told him that even I want to go with him to buy ice cream but he denied saying that his friends are also in the ice cream parlour and he wanted to talk to them alone without me. I was sad but smiled and he went. After few minutes I felt a cloth pressed on my mouth and slowly I started fainting.. When I opened my eyes and looked here and there I saw nothing except the darkness all around me. I was tied to the chair. I tried and tried to free myself but all went in vain. I was crying and calling for Appa, Amma and bhaiyyu but no one came.. (Nandu started shivering remembering that day
